Yes it happened to me today and I’m using Pro.

They have caused this issue on previous plugin updates multiple times in the past.

I am now moving all my managed websites (200+) to another SEO plugin, AIOSEO is not like it used to be. Ever since they added the new UI and TruSEO Score nearly four years ago the plugin has gone downhill and has become problematic.

I’m using the All in One SEO Pro and the issue still exists with Post SMTP…

All in One SEO Pro: Version 4.4.6
POST SMTP Mailer: 2.6.0

I’m wondering this also.

This issue still remains. 100+ sites, a lot are losing Meta information randomly.

Even pages I don’t edit are losing information.

All in One SEO has been problematic every since v4. I have been a pro user for years also. Flawless plugin before v4.

Yep same error on five sites using this 3.1 version crashed.

Yep, having same issue now. Editor can’t access dashboard to post etc.

@garconis I doubt the most popular cloning plugin would give any support to AIOSEO, the most popular duplication plugin is owned by Yoast who has their own SEO plugins. So it’s a competitor.

AIOSEO is trying too hard to be like the Yoast SEO Premium plugin with features like true score etc. The reason AIOSEO was so good because it was not like the Yoast plugin. Now it’s turning into a bloated clone.

Yep this was a deal breaker for me. I cloned lots of pages while doing SEO.

Pre version 4 worked great with cloning.

I don’t think that there currently aren’t any plugins that support that. The reason for this is that we no longer use WordPress built-in post/term meta tables, but instead use our own custom ones to improve the performance of various features.

Once the free version of 4.0.0 goes live, I would assume that other 3rd party plugin developers will make their existing plugins with our new architecture compatible and might make this possible again.

@freshyjon I think the biggest issue is that the new AIOSEO plugin does not use built-in WordPress post/term meta tables anymore. The plugin is now using it’s own.

I feel like we all have been used as guinea pigs for a new not tested enough system.

I am now thinking of removing it from 100+ sites I have built. Doing some hard thinking at the moment.

v4 has slowed my work down a lot by not being able to have the data in cloned post/pages and having to go through and re-enter some data due to tags not working properly and other bugs.

Ever since the new UI and TruSEO Score & Content features were added to All in One SEO Pack the plugin has had issues.

– Cloning pages now does not clone AINSEOP content.

– Tags sometimes don’t work, for example “Page Title” is not adding it to Snippet Preview or saved paged once saved.

– On page list it sometimes does not display page title under SEO details.

I won’t be renewing this plugin, I’m a pro user. Which is sad because it was the best plugin and issue free until the new UI etc.

I have also noticed a lot more spam getting through over the past couple weeks. I manage 100+ sites and have noticed the difference big time. Lucky most sites are moderated before being approved..

Hi, I think this is because Twitter recently updated it’s API.

The plugin needs to be updated.

Try:
