In reply to: [Invoices for WooCommerce] Great Invoices but Other Annoying AspectsHi Bas,
I just logged in to your site and checked the latest version, and see that the premium plugin installed on my website was old.
So, can the premium version of the plugin not be updated via the WordPress Admin Console? Do you expect people to update manually when you release each new version?
If so, it would be much better if we could update via WordPress, but at the very least, I’d like to receive an email whenever you release an update, so that I know to update manually.
Also, I did not say you didn’t help me. I said support was slow. By the time you contacted me I’d already made all the necessary changes to the template and ended up just sending you my changes, and I never received a reply to that email. You did fix an issue with the date format or something though, for which I was very grateful.
I’ll change my rating again after this. As I’d mentioned, I do like the look of your PDF invoices. Your support could be faster and more thorough, and you need to ensure that updates to the Premium plugin can be carried out via the WordPress Admin Console, but now that annoying message is gone, 1 star is too harsh.
Thanks for pointing out that there was an update on your website.
Regards,

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Lost all variation data on updateI’ve only just found out that I was affected by this issue, because the variations are visible on the product pages, but not available to edit.
Now though, when I run the above query, there are no product_variations marked as trash. I imagine this is because I optimize my database weekly and part of that removes all posts marked as trash.
I have daily backups of my database saved, but I’m struggling to find one that has the information I need to restore any database information.
I have hundreds of products that are affected by this issue. I’m manually recreating some of the business critical product variations, but I really need a way to fix this without going in and recreating up to 15 different variations on hundreds of products.
The information is still available on the front end, so is it possible to get a query that will restore this to the product data automatically?
BTW, I just tried to open a ticket on Woocommerce.com and there is no form on the page that is displayed when I click Submit a Ticket. As a paying customer, I’d really appreciate it if you could make it possible/easier to get help.
@apasionados, I was seeing a lot of resources being taken up by this cron job, but I’ve started using the WP Crontrol plugin and changed the yours_cron job to run only once daily, and at my server’s least busy time. This plugin would perhaps enable you to work around the problem you are seeing.

Just a thought.

In reply to: [WP-FFPC] Yoast SEO Sitemaps Not Building Properly with WP-FFPCOK, so I waited 12 hours with WP-FFPC deactivated, and the sitemaps didn’t come back.
I then tried reactivating W3 Total Cache, and my sitemaps came back instantly, which I don’t understand, but at least my site is running normally again. I guess I can’t switch to WP-FFPC for now after all. ??

In reply to: [WP-FFPC] Yoast SEO Sitemaps Not Building Properly with WP-FFPCHi again Peter,
Sorry about this, but I just tried disabling WP-FFPC, and after waiting an hour or so, the sitemaps are still broken. It’s possible that this is not related to your plugin after all.
Before you spend any time looking into this, I’ll see if the sitemaps come back after some more time, and if not, I’ll try to find the reason elsewhere.
I’ll get back to you if I still need help, but I think we can call the dogs off for now.
Cheers,

In reply to: [WP-FFPC] Yoast SEO Sitemaps Not Building Properly with WP-FFPCThanks for looking into this Peter.
Yoast is a bit bloaty, but it gives the best control over what gets included in the sitemap than I’ve seen in any plugin. I’ve tried a lot, and none have the same control, and few include WooCommerce products and categories etc. I’m afraid I’m stuck with Yoast. ??
I look forward to hearing from you if you can find anything to help. I’d like to be able to continue to use your plugin, but that won’t be possible if the sitemaps don’t work.
Cheers,
Martin.I just woke up to see that my server had been down for three hours, and it took me another three hours to narrow the cause down to your plugin.
I don’t like to complain about a free plugin, but this is not good. As pantaluna says, you need to build better error control into your plugin. If an external service is not available, fail in like 15 seconds, and automatically stop checking for another 60 mins, or a day even. Let’s not just bring servers to their knees because of this.
+1 for NGINX support from me too. I’d like to use this plugin, but not without full NGINX support.
Thanks in advance!
Whoops! I meant to say, when I disable the plugin, these lines go away.

In reply to: [Plugin Organizer] Plugin Organizer don't work in new wp version 4.0Hi Jeff,
Great plugin!
It stopped working for me too after updating to WP 4.0.
If I try to edit any of the Filters or create new ones, none of your plugin fields are available. See this screenshot. This is what I see when I try to edit an existing Filter, and is the same as what I see if I try to create a new Filter.

Cheers,
Martin.Did you find the cause of this?
I’m having the same problem. I had to turn Jetpack Comments off for now because visitors were unable to comment.

In reply to: [Top 25 Social Icons] SpecificFeeds and Additional IconsHi Vyas,
Thanks for your help.
My blog says that I have version 2.0.0. Is there a way to get a newer version?
Just a Podcast link will be enough, thanks. I’ll use the WordPress contact form to mail you my email address straight after this. If you could send your email address, I’ll send you a graphic to show you what I mean.
Thanks again!
Martin.

In reply to: [Top 25 Social Icons] SpecificFeeds and Additional IconsSorry for the multiple posts. I meant to add that it would be great if you can just change the email subscription icon so that it just jumps to the SpecificFeeds URL rather than creating a mailto: link.

In reply to: [Top 25 Social Icons] SpecificFeeds and Additional IconsUpdate and requests…
Firstly, the mail icon is now displaying, but it contains a mailto link, so when people actually click on the email icon, an email opens with the https://www.specificfeeds.com/follow URL in the To field.
If this was intentional, with all due respect, it’s not a very good idea. I have created a SpecificFeed account, and now have a URL for people to visit to subscribe to my blog (below) but adding this to your plugin’s email field doesn’t help. It still opens in an email.
https://www.specificfeeds.com/widget/emailsubscribe/NzQ3Mw==/OA==
Also, I cannot remove the https://www.specificfeeds.com/follow string from your plugin. This means that I currently have an email link in my group of icons that doesn’t work. Please fix this.
Finally, your rrs.png icon doesn’t load on case sensitive system servers. I had to change the filename to rss.png to make this image load. Please either update your code to reference the uppercase name, or make the filename lowercase so that I don’t have to update this with every plugin update.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Martin.
