Just for your interest, using SFTP and Filezilla, I managed to delete the file.
Using a normal FTP connection was not good enough!

I can see this rogue file in FileZilla but it cannot be deleted or renamed.
The backslash is an illegal character and causes problems.

Any suggestions on how to get rid of it?

I recently migrated a site from my local PC (Bitnami stack) to a hosted site online using this plugin. The migration worked very well (many thanks) but UpdraftPlus immediately reported an error after a security scan.

“File is in a WordPress core location but is not distributed with this version of WordPress.”
Filename: wp-admin/D:\\test1.txt
File Type: Core

What’s going on?
Is it possible to delete this file?
