yes I’ve installed Yoast SEO too.
Today from webmaster tool I read: 1562 sent url, 381 indexed url.
Yesterday they were 411/1562.
really strange… my regular pages and porfolio pages are indexed and i rank really good for some subjects on them.
Please note this:
I have some product pages used just as catalog with no ADD TO CART button and no price attribute
and I have an eshop section with products available for ecommerce buying.

what can i check? i need to understand the problem in order to fix it.

i have the same problem.
my blog pages or portfolio pages have been indexed in few hours.
my main part of the website https://www.usedmarblegranitemachines.com
is not yet indexed after 3 months.
it’s based on woocomerce but
50% of the products are machines with no price because it’s not possible to buy them directly by credit card (so it’s just a catalog) and
the other 50% are eshop products for ecommerce.
could be this the problem?

Anyway I tried with /%postname%/ but when I save the .htaccessfile in my server I have the same “server error” when i try to access to any webpage.

My splash page, isn’t a WordPress Page, is a simple html page with 2 links to different sections of the site. I need to have two different sections, the italian section and the arabic one. The sections differs each other both for the language (sure) and for the content.
I need to have different pages and so different sidebar menu for example.
It’s not a simple translation.
To get this I installed two WordPress in two different folders. In this way one splash page link is linked to the italian section the other to arabic section.
Maybe it’s a dirty solution but is the unique that I found for now.
I tested this solution in local in my pc. I wrote the html page and put it in mysite/wp-content/themes/default folder. Then I created for both wordpress installation one empty wordpress page setteing them as a SplashPage template. And here I’m in trouble, becouse in the defoult theme I have this option in other themes I have downloaded I haven’t it.

… I didn’t succeed;
I’m in trouble because I lost my old index.php that worked.
Now I have ma page called ‘start’and in my index.php I want to include my header, sidebar, footer and own page but I don’t know how to write it.
