I had the same error problem like you after I just updated wordpress and then installed NextGen.
After looking into their support forum I did the “Permalink changes”
and it worked after.
So go to your site’s dashboard, click on Settings – Permalinks and select “Post Name” and try again – if that doesn’t work then I’m sorry, but that did it for me ??
