In reply to: [Debloat - Remove Unused CSS, Optimize JS] The perfect addition to WP RocketTotally agree. Plugin works very well. I use it to combine CSS and WP-Rocket for all else. Don’t really like the combine css in WP-Rocket for some reason. Feels like I have more control using Debloat. Close second to Perfmatters for combining CSS.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] I can’t understand the bad reviewsThis editor constantly breaks, is not intuitive, and I can go on and on. Worst thing to ever happen to WordPress.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Remember: Gen X doesn’t like to click twice when once will do.@worldlightmedia 100% times 1,000,000. This thing is beyond terrible. Everything about it. Tried my best to like it by forcing myself finally over the last few years to use it, but it is the same as day one – an experience of absolute futility. For example, just trying to change a heading to an h3, now takes like 2 or 3 clicks, lol. Huh? It used to be a simple click and release. I am surprised nobody got fired over this monstrosity.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Gutenberg has the worst UX@esten To this day I am frustrated to no end with Gutenberg editor. Block editing for simple blog posts was the worst UX decision they could have made. It’s crap, pretty much. I finally started to use this editor a few years ago after putting it off for 3. And it still doesn’t work like I want it to, and it’s glitchy AF. I want to pull my hair out daily using this crap, but well, I don’t have hair, so yeah…

In reply to: [Gutenberg] I don’t understand this@wmhboehm Sorry to hear you are having trouble with this. I don’t blame you. The introduction of this editor ruined WordPress. I tried to give this a try for a few years now and it is still just as counterintuitive, buggy, etc. And I’ve been using WordPress since 2010, so going on 13 years.
They dropped the ball, like big time with this. Terrible. I’d even go as far as using the word atrocious. If you want a simpler experience that is kind of like MS Word, revert back to the classic editor that was used for countless years, and it was an editor people loved, because it was simple, and it worked without fuss.
The plugin is called Classic Editor and you can download it. That said, who knows if they will remove it at a future date. If so, I’m done with WordPress personally. So maybe better to just try and learn this editor since you are new to WordPress. Good luck, you’ll need it.

In reply to: Classic Editor block: toolbar is no longer sticky after 6.3 update@happyandyk Kind of “amazing” that WordPress still hasn’t fixed this despite it being nearly a month. Giving us a workaround is unacceptable. Hundreds of thousands of people still use classic blocks, maybe millions. This platform has really gone downhill. Losing it’s luster and I’ve been using it for a decade. Disappointing to say the least.

In reply to: [Easy Table of Contents] Drop menu now under title@magazine3 I flushed all caches (Cloudflare, object cache, optcode cache, page cache, etc.) and the problem still occurs across my websites. Any ideas?
UPDATE: Ok, so I tried one last thing and it worked, for anybody else having this problem. Simply disable the plugin, clear all caches (maybe not necessary), and then re-enable the plugin. That worked for me.

In reply to: [Easy Table of Contents] Drop menu now under title@magazine3 We are seeing this same behavior on all our websites. Is it really resolved? I cleared all caches except the Cloudflare cache. Maybe I will clear the Cloudflare cache once I can get the owners to log into Cloudflare to do so. But clearing all other caches didn’t resolve this issue.

In reply to: [Index WP MySQL For Speed] Pre Use QuestionsThanks for the detailed reply. I decided to try the plugin and the site I used it on was super slow. Site has 75,000 posts. I installed a bunch of other stuff like page caching and Redis too, cloudflare Super Cache, delayed java, etc., but before this, QueryMonitor showed the database was having huge issues with speed. I cleaned up autoloads in options table too (was quite large). Moving tables to Innodb per your plugin setup was also done of course. There is still something a bit off with this site (has been moved to different hosts many times and is poorly managed among other things), so maybe corruption, or maybe the server is just not good enough for this big a site. IDK, but after doing all this and installing your plugin, this site feels incredibly fast now. IDk. Maybe your plugin was the icing on the cake for all the other stuff I’ve done. The next step is getting this site moved from the Theme it’s one to a more efficient theme. The slow database calls seem to be originating from the theme (used QueryMonitor). Either way, am happy to report this plugin is working fine on a fairly large site, and the site is actually usable again. Pageload literally went from 15 seconds to 475 ms. When logged into backend, it’s also much faster, but still a bit slow during some actions. I’m suspecting something is off with this theme, but not sure entirely.

In reply to: [Super Page Cache] Question about NGINX Cache and WPCPC Plugin@isaumya Ok, so basically I should email Inmotion support and ask them to turn off NGINX page caching? I will do so.
@wordmax Similar. This plugin worked great for a while but has been broken for at least 6 months I’d say. Prices are way off and even the marketcap tool shows Bitcoin as #16 on the list with a bunch of random ones above it. YAM, YAM V2, DSLA Protocol, and a bunch of other random entries. I was considering buying a pro version of their plugin but I’m on the fence now. This has been broken for a long while. Usually I just let it slide since it wasn’t critical and figured it be fixed within a week, but nope.
@andymnc Looks like the ticket was closed, but I didn’t hear an update. Just now re-activated the plugin with version 3.6.3 and it appears they resolved the issue. I imagine this is why they closed this ticket. Good luck!
