I just have to throw in my support for Aussie Hosts – don’t know if they’re the cheapest, but their prices fit in with my budget (and as a student, that ain’t much) – but the best thing is their support and their attitude – no question is too dumb – and they never sleep – they are really cool people. I’ve been with them for two years now, and about to go into my 3rd year with them. Worth checkin’ out.

I really don’t understand – sorry – newbie to this stuff – in particular- php and what ever .htaccess is – could you explain more simply, please?

the photo albums are just straight html tables – no gallery program – just thumbnails and a JavaScript that brings up the full pic in a pop-up.

the font is fine – I’m using IE at 800×600 – I prefer sans serif for reading off a screen.
I’d really like to know how you got the archives to run in ascending order.
Actually, what I’d really like to know is if it is possible to have just one category running in ascending order, with others descending.

hmm, ok, I changed the charset=iso-8859-1 to charset=UTF-8 and the problem has gone – on my browser at least.

I’ve just discovered that it’s also happening with hyphens – dang, just when I thought I’d come across a really good script – does anyone have any idea what is going on with this?

I have the same problem, but it’s not just in comments, it’s in the actual posts and it’s not just in blockquotes, it’s everywhere.
