It’s literally empty dude, it only has the comments section bit with /* and */ and nothing else. Once I pasted in your code that’s when it kicked me out and so I had to then delete it. It’s basically empty/default.

It all worked up until that final amendment to the functions.php which then locked me out of the site so had to go in to the back end and remove it. It referred to an issue with line 12. I’m assuming I need this final bit though because the previous changes didn’t actually change anything visibly on my phone.

This did indeed show the bars underneath, however is there no way of having them appear collapsed on both sides? On the iPad version i see the arrows on left and right and can tap to expand these. Does that option not exist for phone versions

I knew both would have collapsed but was expecting to see the coloured button on both left and right that I could tap to expand the sidebars.

Note I am running the latest version of WordPress that appears within WordPress’s own Add New facility – I have not downloaded from the official website as this issue gave me various ‘illegal string offset’ issues so I reverted back, while using Being Hueman to make changes.

Mate you’re a life saver. I totally forgot about the ‘home’ and ‘siteurl’ settings! I had them set specifically to the old server name. Can I just keep it as this when it comes to moving it back again? It’ll be relative to whatever location it’s in that way?

What do I need to do to ensure that this can be fully accessed by other users on the LAN?

Okay just by sheer fluke I have found out what is causing the issue – it’s this line to remove the black bar;

<?php show_admin_bar(false); ?>

Once that’s added in, nothing happens when I click the drop down menus. It even breaks the Plugin settings from the dashboard!! :S

Although adding to the main Hueman’s Theme Function PHP page breaks it, removing the line from the child’s Theme Function page does not fix it.

I have noticed now that the back/forward arrows as well as the category/agenda drop down menus don’t work on the Hueman child theme, which is a pain as it has my other customisations in it. Works fine once I change to the main Hueman theme =[

What PHP file could be causing this, how would I even know where to begin? The child theme only contains Theme Functions.php and Stylesheet.css

It seems it is down to the theme, as it works fine on the Twenty Fourteen default theme as well as 1 or 2 other custom ones. Does this mean I’m snookered? Or is there a way around it.
I can, however, confirm I am running 2.0.13

Cefiar, I’m afraid this is actually a local site, soon to be used for an Intranet so I couldn’t link anything even if I wanted to! I went through your post and then the suggested link about troubleshooting conflicts, but nothing worked. The Footer call is there, the tick box didn’t do anything and it’s a free theme so no support. =[
