Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Redirectioner] Exporting logsI have been searching for some way of exporting the logs myself without success. Perhaps a workaround could be provided, developers? I would really like to avoid ruining a site’s Pagerank when transitioning away from this plugin.
@gpspake: I recently received a response from Weberz that this plugin is no longer supported, and there are no plans to do so. I hate to be a ‘Negative Nancy’ but I think we are out of luck.
Says list I am trying to add already exists; yet no lists are showing as added. After uninstalling I experience the same behavior.
Same issue. The API worked, valid list ID does not. The plug-in actually does not respond at this time when Adding a List.
I just checked, and there are changes going on right now; perhaps this is one of the issues on which “hiwhatsup” and “SeriouslySean” are working…?
Indeed; thanks for the contribution jmfinn
Uhhhmm…okayyyyy. Suddenly, the problem went away on its own. :/
I’d really like to know “why?” if someone cares to enlighten me; and so I am marking this thread as “Not a support question”.—-
I didn’t do anything between posting here, and coming back to check this forum for answers. I go and decide to give it another go on my own after seeing no replies, and magically it works.I guess I should be happy, and yet I’m not. Probably because this unexplained issue caused me an entire day of frustration, and lost work!! (yes, I work on Saturdays..)
I mean, heck: the only reason I did a WordPress reinstall in the first place was my old local WP installation (which was deleted before the previous post) had been edited by me as an experiment, and I wanted to start over with a stock WP install, and then restore a backup of a customer’s live site for local development.
After seeing the issue I mentioned above, I had made sure to reset my Apache server, then rebooted my computer entirely. And only then did I post here, and even after my original post the problem had persisted. Now, today I wake up and suddenly the problem is gone?!?
What the heck would cause otherwise good image links to stop working on the local machine to which the website is installed?? Keep in mind the issue was specific to WordPress.
It appears you might have missed the preceding post, sir.
The second most recent post (before your own most recent) refers to that very file…and needing more information to track down when the issue occurs. And the most recent post asks for clarification.
Actually; is this where it is believed the first occurrence began?? Or just the first one with a bug report?
https://github.com/humanmade/BackUpWordPress/issues/95And this seems possibly related to the issue as well.. (same time frame, and definitely related to the backup file’s creation) though it was closed.
https://github.com/humanmade/BackUpWordPress/issues/50Thanks for the link, however I see why you can’t find the issue quickly. You (and I as well) would need more information.
There were numerous structure changes made in the logic within that backup.functions.php over the past 4 weeks (actually ..just in the email_backup function alone!). And ..it would help to know if my report was truly the first on this issue (or just know the exact date it started occurring). If only I could tell the exact date of my report.. (I don’t get an email update when I post, only when someone replies..and I don’t see an exact time/date stamp on this forum that gets around that).
Solution: Anyways, the only way to begin going about such a task (me being tester, and developer ..sigh) without the exact date, would be to have all the builds of the plugin from the dates surrounding 1/1/12, then test them each one-by-one until I find the last one that worked, and then I could go in and see what changed by comparing the files that were edited around the time that build was released.
Verdict: Give me more info, and I will take a look for you. Otherwise, me trying to do what you propose, is like fumbling around in the dark looking for a needle in a hundred haystacks.
?? Regards.
Developers: I am almost positive the issue is GLOBAL. This feeling comes from the fact I have performed a fresh install of the BackupWordpress plugin on a clean WordPress 3.3.1 installation, and the issue still occurs. I have several clients wanting to know why their attachments aren’t being generated.
Is this a funding problem? What’s the deal? 3 weeks and all I see so far (besides others with the same issue) is a single response that is incorrect.
Added Info
This issue now occurs on other sites to which I have access.Ah excellent, and for the record it was just user error. Great plug in by the way. Its certainly getting a high rating from me, and if I get any paying customers anytime soon, I will certainly be passing on some bucks.

In reply to: [eShop] [Plugin: eShop] Issues with shipping costs not being appliedAs I said – there were no discounts entered whatsoever (they were all null).
This issue …resolved itself somehow. I wish I would have checked it wasn’t working after verifying the discount codes were not 0, but I did not. And since I am not the only one with admin access to the site…well you get the picture.
User error appears to be the cause; not a bug. Just the same, thank you for your help.
This plugins load the CSS file on all the pages on the blog.
It should be updated to load the css only if the user wants that page to have a review form. This is increasing payload when it should not.
Same goes for the javascript. Should only load on pages that use the WP Customer Reviews.
If this is true, that is indeed an issue that should be fixed. I am not a big fan of plugins that add bloat globally to a website’s page loads..
One would think there would be a php if-then check implemented from day one to determine if the page/post is configured to accept reviews. A confirmation by the developer that this issue is either in the works, or the above posters are mistaken would go a long ways towards liking this plug-in.
I’m no representative of this plug-in’s development, but integration of that kind sounds like an issue which would fall outside the scope of the project.
This has been fixed in 1.6.4
I have 1.6.4 installed. This issue still occurs as described.
