One follow up question. Now that I’ve changed the directory name and I was able to login via website.com/wp-admin, how do you recommend “reinstalling” the wp security plugin? Can I change the directory name back while I’m logged in to my wp website?

wpsolutions Member, thank you for responding. Could you please expand on your potential solution? I did in fact enable the rename login page feature. I don’t know what you mean by “temporarily rename this plugin’s directory.” How do I go about this?

I now need to figure out how to reset this feature, or find my wp-login URL in my .htaccess somehow (in case it was accidentally changed somehow from the “renamed” url I have been using)

I apologize if my description was a bit confusing, but no. I renamed the login page to https://www.receptivedesignstudio.com/a-bunch-of-numbers-and-characters. I used this “renamed” wp login page many times, and now when I enter my custom URL “renamed” login page, it simply goes to my homepage instead of the login page; even though the url says I should be at my WP login page.
