*Archives show the posts in their published order rather.

The search is doing its job.

it works on search pages but not on archive pages.

i wonder if theres a hack to simply do away with the archive function totally and have it point to the search page

actually, it doesnt, its just calling on every post without filtering out unrelated categories

Thats how ive approached this btw, been trying to get the thumbnail to think the content of the post is the title.

A more skilled man than myself could probably do it in about 5 minutes.

I’ve been stuck trying to get this for a couple of days now.

I’m hopeless with php.

I’d rather have the topic content on show than the title.
