Thanks for posting this and making an update! I was about to have the same problem.

To be continued… It seems to be working. We’ll see if it unsets but it, currently, seems to be the answer.

Also, I did try what you are talking about and it did not work because of the reason stated above. I couldn’t get it to turn off and turn on again in IT terms. LOL

Thanks for answering! We had another tech look at it and he said that it was showing up because the search function was somehow set to WordPress’s and not WooCommerce’s search function. It was fixed when the search was set back to WooCommerce, at least I think it was, this was only fixed today and I’m going to have to watch it for the next few days.
