In reply to: [WP Edit] DisappointedHi Barkingbird.
I was about to buy this but having seen the Developer pricing it is also too expensive for me.
What was the suitable free alternative that you now use?Hi, same thing happened to me today, so I deleted the GA code, used the Google Analytics Plugin instead and it worked straight away.

In reply to: Multisite WP-Admin and WP-Login INCREDIBLY SlowHi Wyatt, thanks for your help, I will install the plugin as advised.
Hi jkhongusc,
1. My problem seemed to be the same, wp-admin and wp-login sections have been painfully slow.
2. This thread was not closed, I did not know this solution only applied to self managed or VPS hosting as it did not state it anywhere so I was entitled to ask for clarification on the solution.
3. I try not to open new threads but instead search the existing ones for a solution first.
So have some consideration for members who may not be as advanced as you yet.

In reply to: Multisite WP-Admin and WP-Login INCREDIBLY SlowHi S. Wyatt,
I have the same login screen delay problem as you.
I found your thread and have navigated to the etc folder via Ftp.
It contains a folder for each of my websites.Each of the website folders contain files called;
@pwcache (this is a folder which contains a file called info)
_privs.json
passwd
passwd,v
quota
quota,v
shadow
shadow,vTo which file do I add the two lines?
127.0.0.1 example.com
127.0.0.1 https://www.example.com
Thanks, DenisHi Paolo, thank you for your efforts, I went in via Ftp and replaced the code as requested.
I tried it on my listing and it worked!
Thank You!Hi Paolo,
Terenure Enterprise Centre, 17 Rathfarnham Road, Terenure, Dublin 6w, Ireland
or
91 Terenure Road West, Dublin 6w, Ireland
or
6 Rathfarnham Road, Terenure, Dublin 6w, IrelandHi Paolo,
trust me I am not trying to add listings outside the boundaries of the default city Dublin.
The businesses I am trying to add are all in the 5 mile square, same suburb (Terenure) of the same city (Dublin, Ireland).
But every time I try to add one I get the same error message.
“Please choose any address of the (Dublin) city only”.
When I try to move the map pin for a new “Place” it defaults back to the crossroads in the centre of the suburbs village.
I have even put in the latitude and longtitude but no joy.
This is driving me insane…
Hi Paolo,
Yes I only want each business to have one location.
But what I want is for each business to have its own location.Currently every time I create a new “Place” I enter a location address on the map but it keeps giving me the error message
“Please choose any address of the (Dublin) city only.”
and defaults the map pin to the exact same location for every listing.So if I list 100 different businesses I want them to have 100 different locations on the map withing that city suburb.
Where do I set the map to allow me to have a geographical area location like a city suburb within which I can add the various locations of the different businesses?
Hi Paolo,
thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
So now I am even more confused but I am sure you can clarify things!I need to create a directory for about 100 local businesses in various locations in one city suburb about five miles square.
I am trying out your plugin, if it works well then I will buy the add ons for paid listings etc.
I installed the GeoDirectory plugin for WordPress and the Enfold compatibility plugin.
Do I need to install or buy something else for the map to allow me to assign different locations to each business or is there a map setting that I have got wrong?
Hi, I have not had a reply from Wordfence so changed to iThemes security plugin and deleted Wordfence. Access for Googlebot is fine now.

In reply to: [twentytwelve] change menu bar colorIf you want to edit the colours directly in the 2012 Themes go to appearance, editor, style.css
which obviously is not the ideal way but;
You need to change it in two areas
Ctrl+f to find
.main-navigation a{
and
.main-navigation li{
You will find all the settings thereForum: Plugins
In reply to: Failed Jetpack updateThanks esmi, I finally got this fixed today by doing exactly what you said. I was having problems using FTP as it turned out my host had FTP write permissions turned off on my account. Best regards, Denis
