In reply to: [Video Thumbnails] Using Video Thumbnails Pro with WistiaI am using the TRUEMAG Thene which claims to work with Video Thumbnails, being the Theme developers ‘recommended’ plugin.
We are using Wistia as the video respository.
Here are the two Embed Code available:
<iframe src=”//fast.wistia.net/embed/iframe/ijvzba6qy7?videoFoam=true” allowtransparency=”true” frameborder=”0″ scrolling=”no” class=”wistia_embed” name=”wistia_embed” allowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen webkitallowfullscreen oallowfullscreen msallowfullscreen width=”640″ height=”360″></iframe><script src=”//fast.wistia.net/assets/external/E-v1.js”></script>
oEmbed – Recommended for WordPress and other platforms.
I have also tried selecting the API option.
This is what is happening –
If I use the iframe option, then I need to use a Featured Image for it to show on the page. The thumbnail will not appear in my Post editor page.
If I use the other options, the thumbnail will appear in my Post editor page but it appears as a black empty space on my webpage.
Here is some other info that might be useful…
WordPress Version – 4.2.2
Video Thumbnails Version – 2.12.1
Video Thumbnails Settings Version – 2.12.1
PHP Version – 5.4.40
