Hi,
sent You the report as requested. I restored an FTP backup (with an older WP and Wordfence version) – and I was able to login – AFTER I renamed the Wordfence plugin directory. So it might be an WF issue.
It started after updating WP (which is now back to 5.2.5) and after updating PHP to 7.4 (which I downgraded to 7.2). Maybe there is a reason for that behaviour.

Manually updating the rules worked for me now – without the workaround. Maybe it had been a problem with the rules update servers.

thanks for Your quick reply. I updated the plugin – but the behaviour is still the same:

The only way to avoid it, is to deacticate the plugin (which would be sad) OR to remove the captions of the embedded pictures – which I did here:
https://www.tvcamp.de/hard-powder/

So I’m pretty clueless. Is it possible to provide me with the older versions 1.0.6+1.0.7 so I can try if it is really any behaviour of the plugin?

In the edit box of WordPress the characters are exact the same.

Strange – characters are still false – I don’t get it. I used the upper 2 shift key. How exactly do I insert the right character?

Used a modified statement. Characters should be ok – but it still doesn’t work. Only the second gallery link is shown..
