WPYogi – I went ahead and tried that after a bit of research. And the answer is yes, I still have the same problem with all plugins deactivated and default theme.

I don’t know – I have not tried that. Apologies that I am not a power user. So… (1) If I deactivate my plugins, will their data be saved? and (2) Same thing with the theme – if I change to the default theme (I assume you mean 2013), will all my settings be saved?

Hi – I have just encountered this issue – I have hierarchical categories that do not display that way in the menu creation area. Very frustrating! Unlike some others here, they are not duplicated. I tried deleting and recreating, and it still happens. So I’m not sure why this is not a bug. But is there any fix? I wasn’t quite able to follow it all here. I am a “casual” wordpress user – lots of sites but not a developer. Thanks!

I have the same problem, but only with one site. I’m really baffled, and this is a key business site. I have to manually check it for comments.
