I host with Godaddy and my Linux account only goes up to php 5.6. I’ll stay tuned. Thank you. I appreciate those on the forefront — I’m slowly getting out of doing web things as I’m getting older!

Hi, Sorry I wasn’t more specific. Before contacting you I did download the latest version of WP, unzipped it, and manually uploaded update.php via ftp. No joy.

Just to be sure, I re installed WP and again manually uploaded update.php and it didn’t help.

Any other ideas?
