Thanks for the advice. Yeah, I would rather not revert to an old version, knowing Yoast will probably put out an update soon to fix this. So for now I have deactivated Yoast to make the directory display. I hope that does not affect our traffic.

Ok, so what I hear you all saying is that the size addition to the image URL is not the reason the Featured Image is not appearing on FB, which was my theory.

If not that, then why is the image failing to appear in FB posts?

Again, FB Debugger points to these errors:

Inferred Property
The ‘og:image’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.

Missing Properties
The following required properties are missing: og:url, og:type, og:title, og:image, og:description, fb:app_id

This issue is not limited to the one image, but all of them.

As I mentioned, the source file shows this OG:image as:

og:image” content=”https://www.wildrootjourneys.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Big-Tree-scaled.jpg” /><meta

While in Dev Tools, the image source calls for

<img src=”https://www.wildrootjourneys.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/Big-Tree-1080×675.jpg”

For all of the images, something is adding the image size to the permalink.

Here it calls for /Big-Tree-scaled.jpg but it is getting /Big-Tree-1080×675.jpg

Having checked this anomaly against other sites, I’m thinking that is causing the problem. But I don’t know what is causing it or how to fix it.

Thanks for the quick response. You were right, I had disabled the OG feature for testing, but thought I’d enabled it again before submitting this.

It is enabled now. Would you mind taking a look again?

I am also having a similar problem.

With Elementor set to inherit theme fonts, and theme headings set to Century Gothic (san serif), I’m seeing Serif instead.

But I don’t believe any of those suggestions apply to my situation.

The export/backup file is 1.5 GB, well under the 2gb max.

The host is on the supported list.

For import, the file doesn’t get any further than .05% when it gets stuck.

When attempting to Restore, the error message I get is undeniable and emphatical: “Restore” functionality is available in a paid extension.”

That’s the part I don’t get. Why is it telling me to pay for the Restore functionality?

Hi Ross-

Still trying to trouble shoot the shipping issue in WooComm.

With almost all plugins deactivated and using the Storefront theme and changing the shipping address to the US, I’m getting a message that Customer matched zone “Free Shipping”, which it does not.

As well, I get this new error message: “HTTP Response Status: 200 Service: Expedited Parcel USA Price: 21.68 Expected Mailing Date: Guaranteed Delivery: false Expected Delivery: 2019-08-23 Service: Xpresspost USA Price: 32.25 Expected Mailing Date: Guaranteed Delivery: true Expected Delivery: 2019-08-22.

Meanwhile on the checkout page, the preloader spins endlessly and the total never includes shipping.

Our sister site https://segalshaircare.com has the very same problem, but I haven’t updated it yet.

At my wits ends here. If you have ideas for a fix, please let me know.

This is pretty much how the site was set up years ago and it only went south in the last year.

I did as you suggested with the debug. Now, on the checkout page, a banner says, “Customer matched zone “Free Shipping””, which is incorrect in that the free shipping is for $50 and over. It also says, “There are no shipping options available.”

Hi Ross-

Ok, back on Storefront theme, all plugins besides WooComm deactivated.

Two shipping options appear on the checkout page: Expedited Parcel and Xpresspost.

Clicking either radio button, neither sticks. Shipping is not added at all, only tax.

I found that the cart.php, mini-cart.php, and thank-you.php templates needed updating. I did that and still, I get the same message:

“There are no shipping options available. Please ensure that your address has been entered correctly, or contact us if you need any help.”

The Royal theme we’re using has been recently updated and the WooComm status page seems to agree with it.

I’m running out of options to fix this site. Please let me know what ideas you have.

Since the problems are related to shipping, could the fact that the Canada Post plugin is not tested with the 3.7 version of WooComm be the problem.

BTW, it seems that the host has upgraded to php 7.1.27, so that’s good, but shows that wasn’t the problem.

In my tests, I was not able to select the shipping method and save it for final checkout. In another, it did not charge shipping for under $50.

Here is what a customer said.

“i have tried to place my order online several times as it won’t let me checkout at the checkout page by ‘to select your shipping method’ but i did have the expedited shipping option selected. i tried on different computer for a few times, it still won’t let me place the order for 2 days now..
do you know if there’s a system error or issue with the checkout page?”

So, what we have is shipping issues.

Please help. We are running out of fixes.
