In reply to: [Awesome Weather Widget] No forecast days displayedI have also realised that although the widget says 11° Thu 10° Thu 9° Thu, if you go to the extended forecast link it is showing as:
Thu 12 Oct 14.5 °C 15.3 °C
Fri 13 Oct 17.7 °C 16.8 °C
Sat 14 Oct 17.7 °C 13.3 °Cso the temps on the widget are wrong too…

In reply to: [Awesome Weather Widget] No forecast days displayedHi
I have upgraded, and cleared the cache, and I have the same issue as ampeli: with the 3-day forecast selected it shows:
11° Thu 10° Thu 9° Thu
(i.e. all Thu) and with the 5-day selected it also shows just the 3 entries as above but squashed into three fifths of the width.Looks like you are making progress though, thank you for investigating!
Thank you for looking into it. I will do as you suggest and ask them.
Great, thanks
By the way, I looked at the article about conflicting plugins and disagree about Adminimize – I’ve never had an issues as described…
Hello @wfyann
Thanks for getting back to me but happily I have now discovered the problem – it seems that deactivating the Query Monitor plugin allowed the Wordfence scan to complete without exhausting the memory.
best wishes
MarietteHello
The dev version at this link seems to be 5.6.6.1 (the same as the live version). Is it definitely different?
thanks
MarietteGood to know I’m not the only one!
In the absence of any response from Wordfence, and with those suspicious process messages still continuing, I resorted to deleting Wordfence. Shame…
Hi Jules
Hope your work load has eased a bit and just wondering if you’re getting any nearer being able to look into the problem with the post submit code as described above?
thanks
Hi Jules
Thanks for getting back to me.
The problem does go away with version 0.1.7 so I guess you’re right – it’s the new code.
Is there anything you can do?
Thanks Scott – I appreciate your detailed reply.
It’s weird because even a Fasthosts support person admitted that this hosting doesn’t seem to work well with WordPress sites, but they weren’t able to tell me why!

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Google search results showing my username in some snippetsI see, thanks for the explanation. I’m a bit confused though because I thought if you didn’t provide a description then Yoast used the first words of content on that page? It seems to have worked like that for all the other pages. If you do a search on Google for thebms you will see what I mean.

In reply to: [Custom Content Shortcode] How to exclude one post category from a loopHi
I’ve finally worked it out for myself. In case it helps anyone else, the code would be:
[loop type=post count=4 category=”-00″]
where 00 is the ID of the category to be excluded.

In reply to: [BulletProof Security] Adding keep aliveI’m very sorry I didn’t respond earlier. Yes, your reply answered my questions. I did have the code in the right place but it turned out that the web host doesn’t have keep-alive turned on.
Hello wfasa
It seems it was the Sucuri plugin, which emails me with failed login attempts, that stripped out the {}s. I just checked in your logins and outs panel and they are visible there.
So sorry again – it never occurred to me that Sucuri’s info would be inaccurate…
