Note that another important setting is you will need to set the cookie name to the Trigger settings to be able to make it work.

Currently, we do not have an option to disable “Click Overlay to Close, Press ESC to Close” on Mobile devices.
If you want, you can create a separate popup for Mobile devices and simply disable that option for that specific popup.
You can achieve that with the Advanced Targeting Conditions extension plugin. For more details: https://wppopupmaker.com/extensions/advanced-targeting-conditions/
You will need to set the Targeting Condition to (!) Device is Mobile. See demo screencast: https://share.getcloudapp.com/kpuJBEkQ
Please note: Device is Mobile & Device is Phone conditions should both work.

You will need to add a From Submission trigger with the help of Form Submission cookie event to the popup.

Kindly make sure to untick the Close on Form Submission setting under Close tab > Form Submission.

Then, update the Popup and clear out any browser, WordPress, server, database, and CDN caches that you have.
