Hi Don,
Thanks for writing in to us!
I would like to take a closer look at your issue and for us to do that, please could you open a support ticket at our support portal, here: https://wppopupmaker.com/support/
This is to secure your website’s information. And, so that we will be able to try to replicate the issue from our end, as well.
We hope for your kind cooperation with this.
Thank you! ??
Hello @masmasterr,
Thanks for sending further clarification.
I checked your screenshot and I now see what you mean.
Could you try this setting? Demo screencast: https://share.getcloudapp.com/8LuDop16
Simply check the box to adjust it and set it to 0. It just means your theme is setting the width of the page/section using JavaScript rather than CSS.
You can do that under Popup Maker Settings > Misc.
If it didn’t help, please check this guide as this might help: https://docs.wppopupmaker.com/article/314-why-does-my-site-shift-jump-or-skip-when-a-popup-is-triggered
If you have any other questions, let us know.
Have a great day!

@sterndata – thank you for your feedback! This is well noted.
Hi @holdusback – we understand.
Just letting you know that we’ve received lots of users feedback and updating Popup Maker plugin to its latest version will now fix the issue.
We hope everything goes well for you.
Have a great day! ??
Hi @astreck2 – thanks for writing in to us and we are sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue.
I viewed your site and I can confirm that the popup is not showing when I clicked a link.
Here are some things you can check real fast:
- Do you have any cookies set up for your popup? If so, are you sure you haven’t already set that cookie on your browser? Remember that popup cookies will stop a popup from appearing again (expected behavior).
- When you inspect the page’s source, is the popup’s HTML code in the footer (in a hidden state)? If not, it’s likely a condition issue: Conditions Introduction.
If none of those things help, please check out these troubleshooting guides:
- Your Popup Is Not Displaying on Your Homepage (or Another Page)
- My Popup Won’t Work – How Can I Fix It?
- Test if a Plugin or Theme Interferes with Popup Maker
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!

Hello @rik0399 – thanks for writing in to us!
We have a premium extension plugin that will help you to schedule your popup to display on a specific date & time.
We would suggest checking our this extension plugin: Popup Scheduling Extension plugin
You will just need to check the Local Time box as seen here: https://share.getcloudapp.com/z8uL4JD4 This way the Schedule will be based on the users’ local time and not on the server time.
For more detailed instruction on how to use it: Scheduling — Plugin Introduction & Option Settings
On a side note, if you are looking for a feature that will do exactly like your description then we can forward this directly to our development team as a feature request/improvement for our plugin.
In case you are an existing customer then please note that you can submit them here: https://wppopupmaker.com/your-account/feature-requests/
Cheers!
Hello @skoothondjie,
Thanks for reaching out and we apologize for this inconvenience.
I checked the page using my actual mobile device (an iPhone 13 pro max) and I can confirm the issue.
There might be a CSS conflict on that page that causes the page to freeze.
To override the conflict, add the following CSS code to your site.
.pum-overlay.pum-active, .pum-overlay.pum-active .popmake.active { display: block !important; }
You can add custom CSS to your WordPress site by going to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS from your WordPress admin area.
Once you’ve added the CSS code it should display like this now: https://share.getcloudapp.com/d5u9Ploe
Learn other ways to add CSS in our Getting Started with Custom CSS guide.
Make sure you save your CSS changes and flush your WordPress caches.
Then, reload the page that’s having the issue.
If it’s still not working, try adding this line of CSS under the display: block !important; line.
opacity: 1 !important; /* Add this line if needed. */
You can view the full source code on GitHub. And for more details: https://docs.wppopupmaker.com/article/544-your-popup-is-not-displaying-on-your-homepage
If you have any questions, let us know.
Have a great day!
