Hi,
no, nothing happens. No success message, no unconfirmed subscription on the dashboard, simply nothing. Clicking the submit button does nothing.
PS My subscription routine is set to request clicking a confirmation link sent by e-mail.
In my case, I reverted the version of the plugin to 3.4.8 and it works for me. To revert the plugin cleanly, I used another plugin named WP Rollback.
This is a known problem, it is being discussed here:

AFAIK the author has not fixed it yet, but gave the problem top priority.

wp-content/plugins/page-views-count/assets/js/pvc.backbone.min.js
where the result of the increase request should be drawn into a HTML template (<script
type=”text/template” id=”pvc-stats-view-template”>), but for some reason does not.This is, unfortunately, not my field of expertise, so I am not able to patch it.
