Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: WP Post Loop widget – excluding category postsFound it!
I thought the post loop widget I used was built in WP but it’s a theme built-in widget, so I found the answer in the theme support forum.
Thank you anyway for your answer.
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: WP Post Loop widget – excluding category postsHi and thank you for your answer. Unfortunately this doesn’t help.
The first link to the codex indicates how to excude categories from a post page template. I have no post page. My post page named “articles” is an ordinary page that I have build with SiteOrigin Page Editor using widgets.
The second link is a plugin which doesn’t allow excluding categories for specific pages, only the front page, the feeds, the archives and the search templates.
For clarification, I have made an article on my blog with two screenshots.
The first one shows the architecture of my page with Site Origin Page Builder and the page loop widget.
The second one show the location inside the built-in post loop widget where I think I can write an exclude query. I just don’t know how to write it.Here is the link to this article:

Thank you!

In reply to: [AddToAny Share Buttons] Featured image not showing on TwitterThank you for your answer.
I have successfully set up and validated the Twitter Cards through Yoast SEO but still, the featured images won’t be shared when I tweet with Add to Any buttons.
I feel I am missing something but what?
Thanks for your help.

In reply to: [Simple Social Icons] Icons showing verticallyWell, yes and no, it’s fixed if I choose aligment “center”, if I choose left or right aignment, it’s still vertical.
You’re right, this is mean and I apologize, but I’m quite upset after spending one month trying all the fixes I’ve found to make this work.
I’m a “beginner” freelance webmaster and I do free work to create my book. I just don’t want this to happen when I’ll have “real” clients with short deadlines.
I think NextGen is an awesome plugin and if I struggle with it instead of switching to another plugin, it’s because I cannot find another plugin with the same features I need, proof of the quality of the plugin.
And in addition, I would be more than happy to pay for the pro version – if only I was sure it would solve my problem – not because I need the features, but as a donation for the plugin and great support.
OK, I have already submitted a bug report earlier this month (on the 10th I believe), but I will sumbit another one with login and passwords.
Please note that my client happens to be a friend and I do this work for him for free, which explains his patience, otherwise I would have been in a difficult situation towards a “real” client.
Thanks anyway for your prompt answers.
As stated above my permalinks are turned to Post name and it doesn’t work.
I’ve tried with the default permalinks and i have an error message stating “Upload complete 0 images were uploaded”.
I’ve also tried with Month name, and it’s the same as with Post name, up to 100% then nothing and the image is not uploaded.
Thanks!
I’ve just added a php.ini file.
Values now are:
PHP Memory Limit : 100
PHP Max Upload Size : 50M
PHP Max Post Size : 50MI just tried to upload a 2.9Mb image through NextGen, it starts, goes up to 100% and then nothing happens, no error message, no coming back to the add image page, and the image, although it appears in the galery, is not “really” uploaded (it appears as a broken link and all operations I try to do on it fail).
I also uploaded a 6.5Mb image in the regular WordPress Media Library and it works with no problem, so I doubt the issue comes from the php limits.
Thanks!
