@sacredpath thank you very much for your help !! works perfectly. Sorry for the delay in replying. I’m working on a 13″ macbook with a 1280 screen so hadn’t seen that the mobile menu reverted to a standard menu at all.

Tried signing in as a different admin and comment moderation works fine.
I also tried using the ‘delete all pending’ plugin again, got an error message…

Thanks Alchymyth, I’ll have a try with that, in the meantime I just added the text to the header image and turned off the header text. I’m curious, does this method have an adverse effect on SEO ?

Finally solved, spoke with my host and it was something to do with ‘mod_sec’

resolved…
In zenphotopress I had the path to zenphoto set to …./zp-core changed it to …/zp-data and all is working now.

Managed to restore the site from backups.
I am still unable to add any images though, as previously described.

In another attempt to try fixing this unresolved issue I went to the deshboard and clicked re-install wordpress 3.3.1 and the site is now completely broken, I get a page that says…
” Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp() in /home/winscomb/public_html/wp-blog-header.php on line 14 “

Currently trying to restore the MySQL wp database via cpanel, seems to be taking an awfull long time to restore a 118KB file

Any help getting the site back would be appreciated

OK, tried the ‘use-google-libraries’ plugin suggested and still no joy: Able to post text only posts but as soon as I try to insert an image by ANY method I just get a “Apologies, but the page you requested could not be found” message.
Would really appeciate any further assistance in solving this issue.

I tried renaming the plugins directory and it didn’t solve the issue.
