I apologize if I did not followed up.

I solved the problem as you suggested: I commented the part of the theme’s stylesheet that referred to the list.

I still don’t know why the problem started to appear few days ago, but this is not a major problem.

I noticed it, but I wasn’t sure if it was the site itself or my connection.

By keeping a close look at the status bar I noticed that the Feedburner was the most prominent thing loaded (and still it wasn’t show because of some wrapper I tried to place on it).

For the moment I disabled it and the site seems faster (at least for me).
