    Hi Adam,
    thanks for your answer. I will look forward to the new release.

    Unfortunately I have to report that after further testing I found out that targeting isn’t working at all for me (maybe the success I had on my original post was due to a temporary test I made where I removed the targeting on DFP).

    To be sure it wasn’t something strange with the original ad campaign (as it was set up before I have installed the plugin) I have made a new test campaign with a 300×250 box (I have set the Nvidia logo as image and the Nvidia site as target url) that target the hardware category of my site that is a first-layer category; the box should appear on the right sidebar between the search box and the “Social Networks” – for that ad unit I temporarily disabled the AdSense fallback to force it to show only the DFP ads if available; as you can see, it show nothing.

    If I remove the targeting on DFP, the box show up (on all pages of the site of course).

    Here a screenshot of the targeting setup on DFP: https://imgur.com/a/ZbsMj.

    Is there something I am doing wrong?

    Thanks in advance.

    Since the ads are showing correctly anyway, I just hide the error by putting the following code on phprc:

    display_errors = on
    error_reporting = E_ALL ^ E_WARNING

    I have the same problem.

    Example: https://www.silicongadget.com/internet/voip/skype-pulseaudio-microphone/3309/

    In the above example I associated the post to both Internet->Voip (primary as shown in the URL) and Operative systems -> Linux, but it shown the second as breadcrumb.

    Hi,
    I have created the thread as requested.

    Hi,
    almost solved.

    One of the issues was that, while I tried to debug the issue before joining this post, I re-pasted the part of the DoubleClick code that goes on the head, but I forgot to remove the following two lines of codes (as they always created blanks ads on my site):
    googletag.pubads().enableSingleRequest();
    googletag.pubads().enableSyncRendering();

    Removing those most of the ads returned, but not all.

    A note on my setup: on your plugin I have created few “places” with a default ad code and then I created individual ads (linked to those places) that target some specific categories on my site (using “Enable restriction for categories” under “Extended Restrictions”).

    On the categories and specific posts that do not have a specific ads, the default code (on the “place” config) are showing correctly. The ads that are not showing are the ones with the specific ads.

    To give an example (in case the source has some clue):
    this page doesn’t have tageted ads and it is showing the “place” default ad correctly;
    this page on the other end should have specific ads (those create under “Ads” section), but nothing is showed.

    And they were showing before the last update so I presume that I have created (and linked to the places) them correctly.

    Thanks in advance.

    In my case unfortunately it didn’t work.

    I accessed my site via FTP, I deleted the current installation of the plugin, I uploaded the new version, and I delete the cache (both on my site end and on my computer), but still no ads. ??

    Tried, but no ads.

    In my specific case, I don’t have any error message, but simply no ads (and they were showing before the update).

    If you want to check the html code, my site is https://www.silicongadget.com/.

    Thanks.

    Hi Tom,
    thanks for your answer.

    Unfortunately it doesn’t seems to work.

    Just to be sure, I do have to put those css codes in ../wp-content/themes/generatepress/css/mobile.css right?

    Hi Tom,
    thank you very much for your support.

    I have marked the thread as “Solved”.

    Just a couple of things if I am not taking much of your time (you already did a lot):
    1) in the thread you linked it is mentioned that the text should be centered, but in my case it is not; is it because under “Customizing” -> “Layout” -> “Header” I set the “Header Alignment” to “Left” (on the Desktop being on the Left make it more symmetric with the ad banner on the right)? Is it there a way to ignore that setting and make it centered on the mobile?
    2) Is it possible to reduce the space between the widget and the menu bar? On the desktop is not much of a problem, but under a smartphone it is a lot.

    Thanks and best regards.

    A custom widget.

    Actually, thanks to your question, I solved the issue: I tried to add a more conventional widget (Tags) and I noticed it showed up; I then tried to remove, clear the cache, re-add the Sam Pro widget, and clear again the cache and now it show up.

    The only issue now is that, when viewed from a mobile browser, it keeps showing on the right of the site title (like on desktop), but of course due to the limited width it is truncated. Is it possible to warp it down the site title?

    Thanks again for your help.

    A Sam Pro (Free edition) block. The size is 970×90.

    I am having the same issue.

    I am testing some theme that is responsive by its own and therefore I have to disable “WP Mobile Edition” I get the error message that “WP Mobile Edition” is disabled.

    How can we fix it?

    Good suggestion WPyogi!!! Too bad I didn’t think it myself as indeed it should have been the first thing I should have attempted. ??

    At the end, it was the “Google App Engine for WordPress” plugin the culprit; odd since its purpose was indeed to provide a better experience of WordPress on Google App Engine.

    I’ll keep it off until I finish setting up the enviroment (I hadn’t much time in the last few days) and eventually I’ll turn it up when I am ready to go live with the blog.

    Thank you very much for your help.
