Since you seem to be time poor, Henrique, can I suggest it might be a good idea to get at least one more programmer to work with you so that we don’t face this delay in future?

Oh silly me! I am using the Graphene theme, and it has 2 widget areas. One for the front page, and one for all internal pages….a good idea actually.

I have been changing the Recent Posts widget for all internal pages, but not for the front page. Duh!

It’s working fine now thanks….after I deactivated all the plugins and checked using a different theme! ??

Yes, I am unable to change the number of posts displayed in the widget area….however, this is intermittent. I have managed to change the number a couple of times, but as soon as I log out it reverts back to showing the standard 5 recent posts. Even then, it’s not consistent. I have tried a couple of times today after logging in to set it to display 10 posts, but it won’t.

This only happened after I upgraded to V3.7.

I have not tried disabling all the other plugins because I don’t think that is the problem. It looks like the upgrade is responsible, because I have not changed anything in my configuration since 3.6.

And as I am having the same problem as everyone else with the image display inside a post editing box (cannot see the buttons to edit an image and there is a long blank space where the image should be if we put a comment), I assume it’s because the upgrade to 3.7 is at fault.

I found something called People Lists which does half of what I want. I need to show a form for people to show that they support a cause and then list their name below that of their names. This is the website:

It shows the results of the People Lists plugin…but there is no way to configure the plugin to force it to display only the names. Can anyone help please?

Whenever I reply to a post and try to format the text, no matter whether I select Bold, Italic or other formatting I always get this: [undefined=undefined]Draft Constitution[/undefined]

I have deactivated and activated the plugin, but still get the same problem. I am using Version 1.4.4.

I had the same problem and I think I have the SOLUTION. Spent 2 whole days tearing my hair out trying to fix it. Followed all the advice…de-activated all my plugins, created PHP.INI and set the memory higher:

memory_limit = 64M

Did the same with wp-config.php and so on. Nothing worked so I downgraded Firefox and downgraded WP. Still nothing.

I ripped out WP and reinstalled. Still nothing.

Finally, I started installing my plugins. The first one was FS Contact Form, and as soon as I did I saw an error messages saying, “Warning: Your web host has PHP safe_mode turned on. PHP safe_mode can cause problems like sending mail failures and file permission errors. Contact your web host for support.”

I called, asked them to turn safe mode off. Refreshed my editor page and BINGO! The visual editor WORKED!

Yaaaaaaay!
