In reply to: Big Big problemHi,
Do you at least have access to your host’s control panel? If so, you can try some of the options here: Changing the Site URL. If you lost the FTP credentials, there has to be a way to get in through the hosting control panel. And, once you are in, there is a way to make the change directly in the database table via phpMyAdmin Changing the URL Directly in the Database.

In reply to: Unable to Log-InI’m sorry. I forgot to mention that the point of the above exercise (plugin folder renaming, etc.), is to isolate the potential cause of the problem.

In reply to: Unable to Log-InHi SailingGypsy,
Have you had the chance to look at the following Codex article: How do I solve the Headers already sent warning problem?.
It could also be a problem with the Twitter plugin. You can temporarily deactivate it manually by either using your hosting control panel file manager or ftp to temporarily rename the plugin folder into another name. After that, try logging on to your dashboard. If that works, you can rename the plugins folder and reactivate any plugins one by one (assuming you have more than one plugin installed).

In reply to: Is there a LinkedIn comments plugin?Hi,
I’ve seen a number of social plugins although haven’t really tried any. This one looks interesting/promising: Login Radius for WordPress, although isn’t just specific to LinkedIn commenting.

Check out the following post: Must Remove Register Link Under Login Box Window. The third reply tells you where the PHP code driving that functionality can be found and modified.

In reply to: How to undo multisite/networkHi mako2,
Here’s a real helpful link to assist you: How to Disable Multisite. The process pretty much reverses the steps that you went through to enable the feature like undoing the changes you made to wp-config.php and to .htaccess. Note that to drop a table from the database means to delete the table.
Best of luck!

In reply to: Installing a second wordpress to the same domainHi NB2785,
Creating a Network using the multisite feature sounds like what you need. Although it is only one installation of WordPress, each of the sites within the network will have separate administration pages with separate logins. Ever since multisite was integrated into the WordPress Core as of WordPress 3.0, it is the most efficient way to serve multiple sites within one installation.
I’d highly recommend perusing the documentation; most, if not all of your questions are covered by each of the topics. You can definitely come back to this forum thread if you have followup questions and I’d be happy to answer them, assuming of course I have the answers :), otherwise there are many knowledgeable volunteers around that are also more than happy to assist.
Good luck!

In reply to: Ecommerce / pay monthlyHi kitcorsa,
PayPal can definitely be used as a means to automatically charge for a product or a service on a regular basis using “Recurring Billing”. There seem to be a number of plugins that offer that capability along with some kind of invoicing features. Try searching the Plugin Directory using the keywords “recurring billing”.

In reply to: Design/code jobHi Alex H.,
Try posting your job at WP Jobs. As a general rule, offers for paid work cannot be posted on the Support Forum. Have a look at the following link: Offering to Pay for why.
Best of luck finding the right person for the job.
