Yeah … I second you. I already have a subscribers list of 100+ people. I am not going to build a new one and abandon the previous one. So if Jetpack supports to import those old list as CSV, it would be great!

Seems that I am not allowed to manage my subscribers! ?? Well … then I’ll stick with the Subscribe2 widget. At least it gives me the freedom to manage my subscriber list!

Well … the Google-code one has a problem! It doesn’t let any ie6 user to proceed the website further… it forces them to upgrade anyway. But I want to let them in to my website, but with a warning to upgrade.

I’ve got another plugin here. This is exactly what i need, except it works only for IE6 but I want to make it work for all version of IE (including IE9). So right now I am trying to do that…

Meanwhile I got a plugin for the same purposes. I tried it in my localhost and it worked. With some small tweaks, it can be configared for all versions of IE.

What do you guys think about the plugin?

Yeah… I actually want this thing! When a user visits from IE he’ll see a message to use Firefox/Chrome instead. When a visitor visits from Firefox or Chrome he will not see the message!

I’ve changed the child theme’s name from the style.css and it is working now! I am not sure what was happened. ??

I use filezilla to upload anything to my hosts. So instead of a zipped file, I just dragged-n-droped the child theme directory from my LAMP to the WP’s Theme directory.

Have you added the following few lines in the top of the style.css of the child theme?

/*
Theme Name: Twenty Eleven Child Theme
Author: Me
Template: twentyeleven
*/

@import url("../twentyeleven/style.css");

I think you are talking about the top navigation bar. To change the color of the top navigation bar, simply put the following piece of code in the child theme’s style.css file.:

#access {
background: red;
}

In the place of red, put your desired color name or hex code. Hope it will work!

But Post Thumbnail = Featured image doesn’t work for me. ?? I’ve selected an image through the Featured image but it doesn’t appear in the showcase. I even tried with an image post (no words just image only) and selected the image through the Featured image but it didn’t work either! ??
