In reply to: Cannot login to admin page after 4.7 upgradeGot it James! I went back in and deleted the three .php files above. I ddeleted the folders within the main plug folder but didn’t actually do the specific files.
Logged in, stated it needed to update the database. Two seconds later I logged in and am good to go-

Went in and first deleted the following files as stated.
db.php
advanced-cache.php
object-cache.phpOnce deleted I then deleted the W3 Total Cache master plugin folder and contents in its entirety.

In reply to: Cannot login to admin page after 4.7 upgradeJames I renamed to “plugins.hold” and now I have this error. On a side note I left the first step at 0 and didn’t know if I needed to change it back to a 9 before doing this?

The value now read as this (in part)

Changed a:9 to the a:0
Moving on to step two.

Out of curiosity, let’s say it’s a plug-in that’s integral, what would typically be the next step? Go without?
