  • Look plugin author – we have already been through this crap and your persistence is unbelievable!

WE THE USERS SHOULD NOT BE CONED INTO YOUR UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES. WE HAVE ALREADY ESTABLISHED YOUR WAY STILL GIVE YOU ACCESS TO OUR DATA. YOU HAVE ALREADY SAID YOU WILL ADD IN AN UNINSTALL FEATURE OVER A WEEK AGO – STOP WASTING YOUR TIME HERE AND WALK YOUR TALK INSTEAD OF JUST TALKING CRAP THE WHOLE TIME!

I would also suggest people start another thread if I was the plugin author to hide my incompetence and devious business practices!

At a guess do the same thing I suggested –
search for ready graph folder within the plugin folder where this crap was installed from and DELETE the folder complete.
Also search for readygraph.php and delete that.

Then when you open the site it will tell you cant run…..
with the page and line number.

Open that with notepad++ or similar editor and delete the appropriate lines!

Goto plugins in WP content plugins via your FTP manager
    goto Subscribe2 directory
    Delete Readygraph.php
    Delete Extensions folder

    Refresh your blog.

you will get a message something like this that tells you where the hook is

Warning: include(readygraph-extension.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /hsphere/local/mapwaveanalysis.com/mapwaves/wp-content/plugins/subscribe2/subscribe2.php on line 88 Warning: include(): Failed opening ‘readygraph-extension.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’.:/hsphere/shared/apache/libexec/php5ext/php/’) in /hsphere/local/mapwaveanalysis.com/mapwaves/wp-content/plugins/subscribe2/subscribe2.php on line 88

SO DON’T BELIEVE THE BULL THAT THE PLUGIN AUTHOR TELLS YOU – THE HOOK IS THERE AND THEY GET YOUR USER BASE WHILST YOU THINK YOU HAVE UNLINKED IT!

Edit Subscribe2.php and remove line 88 and save.

JOB DONE – FORGET THE CRAP THE AUTHOR TELLS YOU! THEY GET PAID NO DOUBT PER ADDRESS THEY SELL OTHERWISE WHY THE FUSS TO PUT IN AN UNINSTALL OPTION????

    Dear Dabelon!

That is not correct – it leaves the ready graph folder and well as the hooks in the WP files!

I would strongly suggest you check your facts before posting more nonsense here.

STOP WASTING YOUR TIME WITH THIS CRAP AND GO AND PUT AN UNINSTALL IT READYGRAPH WHERE IT WOULD BE MORE PRODUCTIVE AND YOU WOULD GET SOME MORE SATISFIED CUSTOMERS

You should become a politician as you do nothing but repeat the same rubbish over and over again!

So there you go – we the users cannot uninstall readygraph!
We can only deactivate and then you remove app id and our setting get wiped!
Fancy that so you got access – thanks at last for acknowledging that!

I tried removing Subscribe2 – HOWEVER FUNNY ENOUGH THAT DID NOT REMOVE THE READY GRAPH folders, NOR THE HOOKS!

So you clearly are not very concerned are you!

OTHER PUGINS – I have about 20 and all of them have a deactivate and uninstall option!
And when you select to uninstall it has an option that even shows you what will be uninstalled!

Instead of wasting your time here why dont you spend it making an uninstall option instead of repeating the same nonsense!

    Your business ethics stink!

Can you please just explain why you are so reticent to add an unistall option with your program – Readygraph?

This is not an unreasonable request.

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO BRING THIS UP TO THE ETHICS OF WORDPRESS SO THAT AT LEAST THEY MAY NOT ENDORSE IT AS IT DOES NOT HAVE AN UNINSTALL FEATURE TO GIVE USERS THE OPTION RATHER THAN HAVING TO LISTEN TO CONSTANT CRAP THAT YOU CAN JUST DISCONNECT??

Going back to our previous conversation when I hed trouble – from your web site I could choose to unlink 4 options. I could not unsubscribe nor uninstall. From Subsribe2 there is no option to uninstall.

So I just searched for readygraph in my directories and deleted those files.
Then When my blog opened it gave me an error which led me to the hooks in the files themselves which I then deleted.

So dont keep giving your same nonsense – THERE IS NO UNINSTALL OPTION EITHER ON YOUR HOMEPAGE NOR IN WP.

JUST PUT IT IN AND BE DONE WITH IT! YOU TRIED!

THE REASON IS SIMPLE – TO MAKE MONEY THEY SELL ACCESS TO YOUR USER database – so they “pretend” you can uninstall – BUT THAT DOES NOT REMOVE THE HOOKS INTO YOUR USER INFO.

REALLY WORDPRESS SHOULD BAN THIS MODE OF OPERATION FROM ANY AND ALL OF ITS PLUGIN SUPPLIERS – THERE MUST BE AN UNINSTALL OPTION WHICH REMOVES EVERYTHING – IT IS TOTALLY IMMORAL

    no ?page=readygraph-app in admin php!

    Next idea

    https://readygraph.com/accounts/settings/

It has my name in the top right hand corner with 3 options
    Settings
    Password
    Options

    No link to disconnect

And really you should add to your list of features the right to sell and send info for advertising!

    Exactly where? –
no settings in wordpress not to use ReadyGraph
No option to disconnect on readygraph website. Only options under settings / appearance is to disable options

This however does not stop you accessing my reader base.
    So please answer the question.

In regards using data for advertising I suggest you read your terms and conditions which I have copied and pasted here in case you are not familiar where to find them!

ACCESS TO PUBLISHER WEBSITES AND APPS

Publisher hereby grants ReadyGraph the right to display advertisements served by ReadyGraph and third parties. Publisher hereby grants ReadyGraph the right during the Term to (i) access, index, and cache requests made from the Publisher Websites to the Service, including by automated means; (ii) use Cookies, web beacons, and other technologies on the Publisher Sites via the Advertisements in order to collect data from and tailor Advertisements to End Users on Publisher Websites and other websites; (iii) collect and use Personally Identifiable Information voluntarily provided by End Users in response to Advertisements; and (iv) serve Advertisements into the Inventory. Publisher hereby grants ReadyGraph the right to permit third-parties (“Third-Party Providers”) to (i) use Cookies, web beacons, and other technologies on the Publisher Websites via the Advertisements in order to collect data from and tailor Advertisements to End Users on Publisher Websites and other websites; and (ii) collect and use Personally Identifiable Information voluntarily provided by End Users in response to Advertisements. “Advertisements” means materials or messages in any format, including, but not limited to, banner ads, sponsored links, textual, audio-visual, email, and interactive ads that promote an advertiser’s brands, products, and/or services, which are served by the Service for display on Publisher Websites. “Publisher Websites” means the websites and mobile applications owned and/or controlled by Publisher. Should ReadyGraph place advertisements within parts of the Service on Publishers websites and applications, it shall be left to ReadyGraph’s sole discretion whether to share any accruing revenue with publishers. The purpose of any advertisements placed shall be compensation to ReadyGraph for enabling publishers to utilize the ReadyGraph service free of charge. Notwithstanding any other provision, we may also engage a data provider who may collect web log data from you (including IP address and information about your browser or operating system), or place or recognize a unique cookie on your browser to enable you to receive customized ads or content. These cookies contain no personally identifiable information. The cookies may reflect de-identified demographic or other data linked to data you voluntarily have submitted to us, e.g., your email address, that we may share with a data provider solely in hashed, non-human readable form. To opt-out of these data provider cookies, please go to https://www.aboutads.info/choices.

Publisher agrees to allow the Service to post ReadyGraph’s name, logo, links and other promotional material.

Publisher hereby grants ReadyGraph a non-exclusive, worldwide, non-transferable, royalty-free license to use Publisher’s name, trademarks, service marks, and logos (“Publisher Trademarks”) on ReadyGraph’s website, promotional materials, and marketing collateral in connection with the Service, as well as on other sites, applications, and emails within the ReadyGraph network.

It is the usual problem – small print – that lets readygraph sell your user details so they get spam advertising.

So dear plugin author why is there no uninstall option and on your site there is no option to cancel or unsubscribe?

Please can you post here details of how to get rid of this. It came with subscribe2.

Also can you please add uninstall features which are part of any moral plugin software that uses transparent business ethics rather than underhand small print.

    Marc
