Alright, I noticed that when I just typed [manager_link] for the link to be followed for instance in the “Text for subscription” section (or whatever it is in english, I’m using a french version), it was replaced with https://[manager_link].

I switched to “Text” edition instead of “Visual” and could easily force it to <a href="[manager_link]" rel="noopener">etc...</a>

Did you check it on your side?

Guess what? Trying another similar plugin, I just turned off StCR and then on again and… it fell functioning correctly, I mean no https://https://etc… anymore in the link provided in the “Management Email message”…

Yes, it’s the URL in the notification mail that’s badly formed. It just can’t be https://https://mywebsite/manager-link_as_provided/etc…
It has to be https://something or https://something but not both. Right.

But so far, I just don’t know what I could substitute to [manager_link] in the so called “Management Email message” in the Notifications setup section.

So, I just added in this “Management Email message” that the software being bugged, the user’s got to check the URL to correct it in his/here browser and then be able to gain access to his/her subscription management page… Don’t ask, that’s crap!

Hope a new version correcting this will soon be available!

Same for me, whenever a user clicks in the link provided by [manager_link] to be able to manage his subscriptions, he gets an error due to the use of https (I guess).

When I check the source code of the received email, I can see : <a href=”https://https://etc&#8230;

Then the URL in the browser looks like https//etc… instead of https://etc&#8230;

By just adding : in the URL between https and // it works fine.

Edit : Issue posted here too.

Something needs to be done to make it work properly, I guess.

Thanks Isabel. No problem on my side regarding the delay, the feature is still working fine with 1.5.3.

Unfortunately, I upgraded to 1.5.6 with no success : no checkbox appearing anywhere on the post… So I’m back to 1.5.3.

On my side, the theme is surreal 1.3.0 which I’m planning to change some day… but not soon.

FYI, I just downgraded lstc to 1.5.3 and it works fine again.

Hi, I’m facing the same issue since latest Lightweight Subscribe To Comments upgrade (now v1.5.5) : no checkbox displayed anywhere on the post… (used to be displayed before).

To answer your previous question @isabel104, I found no comment_form_submit_field in the theme files.

I guess what I’m looking for is the Pushpad Pro “Prompts users on page load” feature… That’s probably what the website that made me know about PushPad was using, since I did not see any button on the page but was prompted to accept notifications (via pop-up).
I’ll see it closer a bit later.

Another question : when I get to the https://pushpad.xyz/p/<project_id&gt; page, the lower part is displayed in english (my title being in french). Most of my visitors are french readers, some of them don’t read english. Any internationalization planed ?

Hi, OK I think I got it with an help from this RL manual page.

Here’s the setup :
* selector : “prettyPhoto” since this is what I found for the theme’s rel selector
* unchecked the image links box under selector

Then when I clicked in a tile in my website, I could see the standard theme’s lightbox opening over the RL TosRUs’…
I had to find out the way to inhibit the theme’s lightbox which I did by commenting out the following line in the theme’s js file I mentioned before :
//jQuery("a[rel^='prettyPhoto']").prettyPhoto({animation_speed:'normal',slideshow:6000});

Sure it’s probably not the right way, but it works !

You’re right, it’s because the database’s been hacked and I had to restore it from the latest backup which was done just before the last post used for the screenshots.
So I had to rewrite the last post from my memory… :-/
