Question: why did you “miss” a week in the first place?

I had the newsletter deactivated (my bad) for a week.
When I realised people didn’t receive their newsletter it was already to late.

Is there no solution what so ever to change the status of a post in order to skip these ?

Just make a static page with content and add your shortcode after the content.

your content…text, images, etc…

[blog_in_blog category_slug=’name_of_category_you_whish_to_show’ num=30 pagination=off order_by=date sort=desc]

Use the shortcode with a different category slug
for example

[blog_in_blog category_slug=’the_name_of_a_category’ num=10 pagination=off order_by=date sort=desc]

[blog_in_blog category_slug=’another_category_name’ num=10 pagination=off order_by=date sort=desc]
