so does this mean that whenever a new theme is applied, all the data entered into woo commerce in the previous theme will automatically be moved over to the new theme immediately when the woo commerce plugin is activated in the new theme?

well, that message has disappeared, and the site has gone back to “normal”, but when I try to update plugins, one plugin at a time, it appears that the plugin is being updated, but in the end, it doesn’t get updated after all.

1) when you say the cache plugin is fine, that leaves the impression that it does not have to be disabled – is that actually the case? I am asking because I seem to recall that I had asked about installing a second caching plugin and an answer was posted that I had to disable the second caching plugin for Wordfence scan to work. So ???

2) is the falcon engine for caching integrated with the FREE version, (or only with the PREMIUM version) , and if so, how is it enabled, since I don’t see an option to enable it in the FREE version?

oh, by the way, I think you should change your description to:

“…site owner removes site’s commission based on agreed percentage, and then pays the balance to the vendor.” Because in reality, it is the site that gets a commission, or a “fee” for allowing the vendor to sell on the site, but the bulk of the payment really goes to the vendor. I saw some woocommerce users also raising this point on other multi-vendor plugin in Code Canyon. ??

thank you for replying to my post right away.

it seems to me, based on MY understanding of your description of the plugin, that this requires that the theme already have these categories, locations, etc. in the theme, and that your plugin will simply “nest” them properly. What I need is a plugin that will let me ADD these multi-level categories, sub-categories, sub-sub-categories, multi-country locations, etc.

Just so you know, I will not do the coding myself since I am a total idiot when it comes to stuff like this., so I have to rely on hiring someone from studio.envato.net, or from microlancer or freelancer. So, unfortunately, I cannot test, and would not know how to test, your plugin myself, which means that I will first have to hire the coder, and then direct him to your plugin, but I run the risk of his telling me that your plugin will not do what I want done. Does that make sense?

So perhaps you can tell me for sure if your plugin will do the job so I can tell whichever coder I hire that I have the assurance of the plugin author (you) that will do the job.
