I just changed the image size in the recipe maker editor, like recommended, and changed it to the 300×300, thinking it would help serve the image better… because there was no change in the gtmetrix I assume the WPRM was never the issue but something else
I had jetpack disabled and it was still showing the same error.
Thanks for this info! I changed the image size but clearly this wasn’t the issue because I’m still having major serve scaled images issues. Love the new block recipe editor!
Hmmm is the template editor only available with elementer? I can’t seem to find it anywhere in my editor. Also, would I have to change every recipe manually, is there no bulk option?
Why did this happen in the first place after I regenerated the thumbprints?UPDATE: now the image is there, however, has come in at full size. The serve scaled images section on gtmetrix is still reading the same, however now there is a second issue:
In the Serve sources from a constant URL section it shows this:

In reply to: Serve Scaled Images IssueSo I got as far as activating the reSmush.it plugin.. I could not figure out how to only optimize my full size images, there was only the option to optimize all my images. So I went for that option but it froze at 35%..
I will try again tomorrow, but do you know how to choose only to optimize the full size images as you had suggested above?mine has stopped at 35% when I bulk optimized..

In reply to: Serve Scaled Images IssueOkay I will try what you suggest as soon as I have the time and if I still have no luck, that would be great if you could go into my dashboard and take a look. Can you send me an email address where I can give you a login and password just in case?

In reply to: Serve Scaled Images IssueHi there, thanks so much. Before I go ahead and do all of this, I recently got the plugin Smush and had optimized all my photos, thinking this was the issue…
So can I not:
1. disable jetpack
2. delete cache
3. optimize my images again with smush?Or does smush not have the same effects, should I also get the plugin resmush and deactivate the original smush?

In reply to: Serve Scaled Images IssueI am wondering if you meant the MOJO marketplace plugin? I deactivated that one a while back..

In reply to: Serve Scaled Images IssueSo I tried disabling the jetpack plugin but it did not fix the scaled images… it was still at 0 and then my optimized images went from 99 to 0!!
I actually got the AJAX plugin yesterday and changed all my featured images (which seems to be the issue) but nothing changed after they were all rebuilt…
Would I need to deactivate the jetpack plugin and THEN rebuild my feature images again?! And would this also solve the optimize images issue that is created when I deactivate the jetpack plugin?- This reply was modified 5 years, 11 months ago by mamabearscookbook.

In reply to: Serve Scaled Images IssueI did read that article actually and found it helpful, although I would first like to figure out 100% for sure how wide images need to be. I don’t want to reupload every single image to a specific size without finding out 100% that is the correct size. And I am having a hard time finding out what size image my theme (Ashe) uses…. Through the guide you recommended is appears to be 750px but again, want to be 100% sure before proceeding…
Also, it is very bizarre that gtmetrix wants me to change an image from 500×330 to 241×159 when I usually upload at 900×900…
anyways, here is my URL to check out the gtmetrix

In reply to: People can’t leave comments because they are “suspected bots”@mpatroni so it is safe to deactivate the ‘bluehost’ plugin? Even though it says ‘bluehost’ and not Marketplace MOJO?? I am hesitant to do so… what are the repercussions? Really nothing??

In reply to: People can’t leave comments because they are “suspected bots”Hi there! I am having this issue as well… I do not have the Mojo Marketplace plugin but DO have the bluehost plugin.
Is it safe to deactivate it? Don’t I need that plugin for my site to be connected to bluehost??- This reply was modified 6 years, 5 months ago by mamabearscookbook.
