In reply to: [AccessPress Mag] AccessPress Mag problemsI contacted the payment provider after AccessPress support refused to respond to my request for a refund or fix the theme. They investigated and told me I should get a refund from them, because of the false claims AccessPress had made for theme features, but they were having trouble getting money from AccessPress.
On another issue, when I tested the theme, I installed AccessPress demo content, which Google indexed, now I have installed another theme Google still marks my site as adult because of the nature of AccessPress demo content and the links it spawned.

In reply to: [Events Manager - Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more!] Events as PostsI have tried with other themes and still it does not work as it should.

In reply to: [Events Manager - Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more!] Events as PostsThank you for the info angelo.
I have the settings you mention, but the events do not appear as posts, they appear on Events page.
Maybe the warning “Be aware that some themes will not work with this option” applies to my theme.
Is the purpose of this post just to promote AccessPress themes ?

In reply to: [AccessPress Mag] AccessPress Mag problemsI found the documentation unhelpful as well, it was as if it was for another theme or the docs were written before the theme was finished.
Installing the AccessPress demo data showed the layout of the theme, but messed up the back end of my WordPress install and spawned lots of links to AccessPress.
I had to delete WordPress install and drop database and reinstall, before I could get WordPress working OK.

In reply to: [AccessPress Mag] AccessPress Mag problemsAccess Keys the only problem I have now I have dumped the theme and found another, is getting a refund from your company.
Re support forum: Here are some very recent posts, one where your support says Google ads cannot be made responsive, yet one feature of Google ads is to download responsive code. https://accesspressthemes.com/support/topic/accesspress-mag-pro-non-responsive-ads/
And a post where I asked where the advertised page builder feature was and Rodger Simon of support replied: “For page builder you can use this plugin by site origin here”

In reply to: [AccessPress Mag] AccessPress Mag problemsI too looked at many themes before settling on AccessPress Mag.
I found several advertised features not working which AccessPress support fobbed off and once I started this thread they offered to fix issues.
Not only did the themes not work, but were not as they described. Other AccessPress themes seem to have the same problems .
Their support is hopeless, for example in this thread:
https://accesspressthemes.com/support/topic/problem-with-articles/
support replied after two weeks with a suggestion to contact them by email, despite the poster detailing their issues.

In reply to: [AccessPress Mag] AccessPress Mag problemsAccess Keys within one hour of installing I found many problems and realised the theme was not fit for my purpose and I contacted your support.
After a few days I had a response from AccessPress support to say the theme was not fully responsive. AccessPress support also advised me to use a plugin from another company to fix one issue: Rodger wrote “For page builder you can use this plugin by site origin here”
Access Keys you are using these forums and others to market commercial versions of your theme product, I am making users aware of problems with AccessPress Mag and also the very bad support you have for your commercial product and that advertised features are not present or not working in AccessPress Mag and AccessPress Mag Pro.
Thank you for your reply Jan Dembowski.
As I said above I have emailed them and raised support tickets. I am unable to login to their website, the lost password procedure does not work.
I am worried now that both the free (which I also use) and paid for versions are being dropped.
nicola.peluchetti You do say “we use libraries which are not compatible with wrodpress.org licences.”
nicola.peluchetti, you are saying that the download of All-in-One Event Calendar on www.remarpro.com may not work and may crash websites.
You also say ” The version on www.remarpro.com is not supported anymore as we use libraries which are not compatible with wrodpress.org licences.”
So why is this version still on www.remarpro.com, why have Timely not removed it ?
I managed to save a site killed by a recent update of All-in-One Event Calendar by re-naming the All-in-One Event Calendar plugin folder to something like: junk-all-in-one-event-calendar
This enabled me to access admin again.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Notice from Time.lyHaving just had another website killed by an upgrade to All-in-One Event Calendar, I had to contact Timely support to sort out the problem
My experience was even worse than before.
My previous tickets had vanished from the Timely support system. The support system failed to load for minutes at a time. It then refused my ticket as it seemed to trying to connect to my site and authenticate my licence, difficult when the site was down.
My website was finally back online after being fixed by Timely about five days later. In the many years I have been running websites this is the longest a site of mine has ever been down, by far.
Timely as per normal blamed my setup, this time they thought the ftp had failed during the update. The real issue appears to be the truly wretched All-in-One Event Calendar update system has. If only Timely would use the normal WordPress system of updates I could have most likely had my site back up in twenty minutes by re-uploading the plugin.
Timely are just about the worst company I have had to deal with online, they produce a plugin which looking at this forum and other online resources has damaged many websites. They always seem to blame the plugin user’s website or other plugins or themes rather than take responsibility for their own poor development and support
Timely lack any empathy for victims of their plugin, any support provided is as if they are doing the dead websites owner a favour.
Despite what Timely say above their support has sunk to a new low, in my experience.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Notice from Time.lyRegarding “there needs to better and faster communications between users and the folks at Timely” I have an unanswered Pro support ticket with Timely support, which has been outstanding for about three weeks.
I also note that this support forum states “63 people say it’s broken. 26 people say it works” and that a very low number of support threads in the last two months have been resolved. These are not stats that inspire confidence.
Looking through a lot of support threads on this forum, as I have the last few months it is clear that many websites, maybe hundreds have been damaged by All-in-One Event Calendar Plugin and many sites have gone offline after installing this plugin.
The concept of this plugin is very good, it looks good when working, but support is very poor, even if you pay in my experience, and although each new version fixes problems it includes new one’s.
