    Hi David,
Thanks for your prompt explanations. It does raise questions about the automated comparing of files, but better a heads-up than not being aware of possible changes. I am very happy with the performance of UpdraftPlus and the support.

You previously asked me to update with a development version about a month ago to correct the a double back-up problem. I note from the changelog that since then, there were two updates: 1.7.0 and 1.7.1 on 20 August, which I recall making and that is the date on all my UpdraftPlus files. I am surprised though, that if all files were updated on 20 August, why modifications were found yesterday. Would you like copies of the files in question to check them?
Btw, my latest weekly backup due today, just completed without a hitch!

When I had asked about changing the colour previously, you said to target the headline with css. .modal-header h1{}. I put it into the bootstrap.min.css file and it worked fine. This is a very minor issue and does not detract from the excellent utility of this plug-in, but a custom text colour option would be nice.

After updating to WP v.3.6 and also Twenty Eleven v.1.6, many buttons that normally showed disappeared, Trying to move them around in the settings page didn’t work and the kitchen sink button work properly. After many clearings of cache etc., I used the remove settings button, continued and then reloaded the page to the default values and then could rearrange the buttons again. This was the first time that I had done this and am happy with the result. It may also help with problems with certain buttons.

I have found a work around that requires a lot of additional coding, but it would be nice if your plug-in could work in 3.6 TwentyEleven.

I installed and ran it with the default settings in WordPress 3.6 without any problems. I then set it to check theme and plug-in files and it showed where I had tinkered with CSS and PHPm which is very useful, if you need a quick review of the changes. Accepting these changes then allows the files to continue to be checked in future scans.

Thanks for the information leejosepho. Security programmes only work properly if they are up-to-date and I would have expected that Mark Maunder, would have updated the version information on the WordPress plugins page. I don’t want to waste time with a lot of false security threats, but based on your input will try it and see how it goes.

In reply to: [Audio Player] Flash issue

I have spent a lot of time with this problem because I like the configurability of this player. I could not get it to open on Android devices, but now after upgrading to WordPress 3.6 it plays on my Android tablet but still not on my Android phone. If you have not upgraded yet give it a try. You may have to attach the audio files to the pages for it to work, or you can also try the native player, if it can be configured in the sidebar.

Check that you have the shortcode [whohit]page/post name or ID[/whohit] on the page/post in question.

In fact, as mentioned earlier, the only issue was the time it took Google to sort out the synchronization of the new update and after waiting for it to sort itself out. After that, it showed exactly what I had expected, so am completely satisfied.

I already posted a review a couple of weeks ago and have updated it.

    Hello David,

Thanks for your fast response. I am impressed by your effective fix. I installed the development version and installed without any problem thanks to your clear instructions. I ran the back-up and now have two back-ups with different dates. The only issue was getting Google Drive to sync its folder with the new files. A most useful plug-in!

Finally found time to look for where to slot in the code for the colour for the haedline. Final touch works fine and looks great. SeedProd has my love!

The above code didn’t work, but to style the colour, on the page with the shortcode can use:
    <div style="color: #123456;>[wp_sitemap_page]</div>
The colour can be chosen from any HTML number as in the example, or any of the accepted CSS colour names.
Works fine with very good overall result!

New version works fine for pages, except for the colour coding.

John, Thanks for your fast response. I am really impressed by this plug-in, especially when I look at the coding, as my ability to make new entries in css is limited to minor tweaking. Although I found the modal-header entries in the ./template/bootstrap/css/bootstrap.min.css file I am unable to do the coding for the styling, at least not without further research. I am looking to change the font size and color and possibly the background color. If you can provide any further help, I will be grateful, but since the Maintenance Mode screen has only appears transitorily, it is not so important and I will be happy with it as it is.

Coming back to the possibility of java script problems, Firefox has become increasingly buggy since ver. 18.0 and I was working in Firefox ver. 22.0, which has an issue with Adobe Flash 11 and Shockwave 12. It took several attempts to even install Flash 11 on a Toshiba Laptop, running Windows Vista and despite reinstalling the latest version yesterday on my 64-bit Vista desktop it would not run the YouTube video on your web page. When Flash or Shockwave crash, they usually freeze Firefox and I have to restart it. I checked the Firefox Health Report and found that I have had 75 crashes in the past three days. Today, following Firefox’s recommendation, I reverted to Flash version 10.3 and your YouTube video plays fine. I was multitasking in the browser while, installing the Maintenance Mode page and these crashes were probably the reason why my site slowed down. It is fine now.
