I’ve actually tried v7, but honestly it differs from v6 that much that I couldn’t even understand how it works, so I quit it and installed v6 back. Maybe you should publish at least some kind of Getting Started/Quick start for v7, or maybe Magration from v6 to v7, because it makes not much sense to users who already got used with version 6.
I hopefully propose you to remain version 6 for long-term support including fixing bugs that annoy users like me so much. You say that bug X and bug Y is fixed in V7, but it’d be really awesome, as well as extremely needful, if you fixed these bugs for current version.

As long as I have strong demand in your plugin for my own and my clients’ websites, I can offer myself for maintaining v6. I’ve already implemented bug fix for “no protocol” URLS like “//example.com” on my own, and I’m planning to fix “placeholder.wpsho” issue, so I can pull request my fixes to your repo. Of course, if you have such a need.

I also have an idea to implement crawler via Chrome Driver (headless), because some advanced WP themes like Avada have a lots of content loaded dynamically, so if you think it’d be a good feature for your project, I can start working on that too.
