Actually, I just figured out what the problem was. On the settings page under Step 3 “Where shall they be displayed?” there is a checkbox saying “Place via shortcode”. We were using shortcode to display the icons, but this was not checked. Once checked, the share icons once again showed up after updating the plugin. It’s a little odd the the icons show up at all without it being checked.

It appeared normal because I reverted back to version 2.2.5 of the plugin. I just updated to the latest version, so you can try it now.

I cleared the cache and tested in private browsing mode on the following Windows 10 browsers:

– Google Chrome (76.0.3809.132)
– Mozilla Firefox (68.0.1)
– Microsoft Edge (44.18362.1.0)
