In reply to: Where Did My Homepage Go?ok, thanks gnoric.
Unfortunately, I have no idea which files were modified. It’s looking like I might have to hire someone to find and fix the problem….
Thanks for your help though.

Yeah, I’ve used this guy on many occasions and he’s always been good. Not this time though.
When I switch to the parent theme the page loads, but not the child theme. When I disable woocommerce plugins the homepage loads fine. The techie was working on design of woocommerce product pages, so that fits.
The error log was empty, but my host managed to trigger the following:

In reply to: Fatal errorThanks Tara,
Just went to upload a new wp-config.php with debug enabled and I noticed something very strange….. wp-config.php was an empty file, no content.
It’s strange because yesterday I downloaded and saved wp-config to my hard drive so I have an off-server copy as a precaution. Then I refreshed all wp core files, except wp-config and wp-content.
Later I noticed that wp-config.php on the server was 0kb. I thought that was strange because I knew I hadn’t overwritten it when I refreshed the core files. Anyway, uploaded it from the copy on my hard drive, but the site was still white screen after upload.
Just now I went to upload an edited version of wp-config.php with debug enabled. I again found the wp-config.php file on the server was 0kb. I know yesterday it contained data….. what’s going on?
Seems very strange!

In reply to: Fatal errorHi Tara,
Thanks for your help. Yes, I’ve disabled plugins and forced a theme change. I’ve also refreshed all wp core files except config.php amd wp-content
When I try to log in to wp-admin I get the error
Fatal error: Call to undefined function nocache_headers() in /home/makewood/public_html/wp-admin/admin.php on line 33
I checked out the link you gave but think I’ve done all of that…. starting to get really desperate…

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] fatal errorok, just refreshed wordpress core files for a second time and now get an error
Fatal error: Call to undefined function nocache_headers() in /home/makewood/public_html/wp-admin/admin.php on line 33
I’ve manually refreshed the admin.php file and I’ve downloaded and have searched for nocache_headers() without success…….

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] fatal errorThanks Kimberley, really appreciate your help…..
I’ve deleted the cache folder, increased the memory, plugins were already disabled, then I added the debug code.
I’m still getting a white screen, can’t access admin, no error messages were output….

In reply to: Fatal errortemporarily renaming advanced-cache and object-cache returned the original error. Appears to be a problem with W3 total cache though.
Still unable to login in to wp-admin
