In reply to: [WordPress Follow Buttons Plugin – AddThis] LinkedIn improvementsThanks for getting back to me Srijith. I never got that beta version you sent me working. The live supported version works as intended, but as we discussed, it doesn’t quite do everything I need it to yet. If you visit any page on https://www.moocnewsandreviews.com you’ll see your plugin under Follow Us. My visitors are following me on those networks that I have buttons for, which is great. But, no LinkedIn button, no followers on my group there. (: I’m not skilled enough to go in the code and modify your plug in.

In reply to: [Social Author Bio] Adding a space below the Social Author Bio boxGot it! Sorry. I didn’t see the “advanced HTML” screen before. And that fixed it, too. Thanks very much.

In reply to: [Social Author Bio] Adding a space below the Social Author Bio boxThanks for the help, Nick. I might need it spelled out for me a little bit more. I should be in the edit window for the Social Author Bio plug in? When I Control F in there, I find 3 sections of code with #author-bio-box.
Each of them has this line of code below:
“\t”.’float:left;’.”\n”.Do I remove the whole line or only part of it?
Or should I be in the theme’s CSS somewhere?

In reply to: [Social Author Bio] Adding a space below the Social Author Bio boxI have a similar issue, though maybe not precisely the same. (Let me know if you prefer I start a new thread.) I also would like to create some white space below the bio box and the next item, which in my case is an ad block. I don’t have an issue with the ad block displaying on the right side of the box like Vincent, but I do have the problem with there being no space between the two items. Are one of Zoe’s fixes right for my case or is it something else? (Or do you think it’s an issue with the plugin creating the ad block?)
You can see an example at the bottom of this post: https://moocnewsandreviews.com/talking-out-both-sides-of-our-mouths-on-course-quality/
Thanks,

In reply to: [WordPress Follow Buttons Plugin – AddThis] LinkedIn improvementsThanks. The install for that file has failed for now. (Perhaps it’s not yet strictly an update to my current install and I therefore have to deactive or uninstall the current version first?) I’ll sit tight until the new release.
In the meantime, a clarification? Will the new support be for LinkedIn groups also or only for companies? Groups is the issue I’m having. In my novice reading of the code, I only see the support for LinkedIn companies.

In reply to: [WordPress Follow Buttons Plugin – AddThis] LinkedIn improvementsYes, please. I was stumped for awhile wondering why the link to my group kept redirecting to some random individual. Anyone have a workaround? (Other than having different follow buttons for different social networks.) I tried editing the file to remove the “in” but didn’t have any luck.

In reply to: Save and autosave problems in ChromeFurther hints: It seems to be only on this blog. I just tested on another site that I recently set up. Different domain, same host, also WordPress, default theme, no monkeying with plug-ins and settings yet. On that site, it looks like I’m not having the saving problem. On the site where I am having a problem, I’ve done a lot of work with the theme, plug ins and settings. Perhaps something there is set up funny. But, again, it’s not saving only in Chrome, not in Firefox.
