Loads……..Contact Form 7, CSS3 Responsive Web Pricing Tables Grids, Dynamic Vouchers, GT-Vouchers, Simple Ads Manager, Social Connect, TPC! Memory Usage, Ubermenu 2, W3 Total Cache, WP Smush.It.
I have tried deactivating them all except Akismet and WordPress SEO, however, the error still occurs (of course, if I only have WordPress SEO active the bug does not occur.)
I sent a dubug file earlier.
Hi Yuzairy.
I added this to my wp.config file (make sure it appears before ” /* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */ “)
*/
define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true);define(‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true);
// Disable display of errors and warnings
define(‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, false);
@ini_set(‘display_errors’,0);I wasn’t seeing a debug file at first either, but I found if I went to the Akismet plugin (on your WordPress site’s installed plugins) then put https://www.yoursite.com/wp-content/debug.log in the browser and I could see the debug log.
Hi – I was just about to raise a bug when I noticed this looks like the same problem I am having.
I think the problem I’m experiencing is between It looks like Akismet 3.0.4 and WordPress SEO 1.7.1.
Happy to run the Debug too if it helps you resolve this issue.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Hikari Category Permalink] Plugin FutureI agree – this plugin is great but the lack of compatability with latest wordpress is a concern. I’ve started to look for alternatives but haven’t found one I like yet….
Hi Ian,
Making the change on line 1155 of core.php seems to have worked – Thanks for your help!
I’m not sure I follow regarding the placemark- if If edit the placemark in wordpress and view the html all I see if the text I added with a href link. Pretty sure this isn’t what you need to help replicate it.
Hi Ian,
Thanks for the update. I’ve put it on my staging site and I’m still getting the same error (i.e. “loading map….”)
Here’s an example page from the test site.
https://images.norfolkplaces.com/indoor-soft-play/hi Richard,
When you say that a lot of events can cause sites to go slow, do you mean total events on the database (including expired events), or just being displayed on the page at any one time?
I am hoping to have a lot more events on my site, but would be wary about using this plugin anymore if it is detrimental to the site performance.
Hi Ian,
Yeah, I cleared the cache. AFter the bug occurred I read through the FAQs etc which mentioned about issues with W3.
I don’t have an upto date staging site but I was planning to build one next weekend, so will have to move my plans forward.
Luckily I had taken a back-up of my site a couple of days ago so I’ve reinstalled the files from the previous version of this plugin.
Not really a resolution, so I guess I’ll wait until the compatability/bug issues in v1.9 are sorted.
I agree, they should be excluded from search.
Hi Alexander,
I was hoping for something similar too. I have a lot of posts under different categories and would like to create mash-up maps to show markers for one or more specified categories.
If this was a feature then I would definitely use this plugin.I would also like it if users can also submit events for approval.
In the meantime I might allow selected Event Contributors to add events. However, before I do this I have one query. Is it possible to limit it so Event Contributors only see their own events in the Administration panel and not events created by other users?
I’ve had the same problem.
This plugin is broken, so I’ll be seeking an alternative.
It was also causing loads of google crawl errors too – causing google to think there were paginations that didn’t exist.

In reply to: [No category parents] Plugin: No category Parents – doesn't work with WP 3.2?Thanks msaizan, will do :o)
there are some that will deal with the category base (for example Yoast’s SEO plugin does this) but I’ve spent the last few evenings trying to find a plugin to drop the parent category but to no avail.
So, it looks like we’ll have to put up with it or put in place permanent 301 redirects in to .htaccess.

In reply to: [No category parents] Plugin: No category Parents – doesn't work with WP 3.2?Doesn’t work correctly on 3.3.1
It blocks the mandatory category base, but not the parent categories.
Disappointing because after hours of searching this is the only plugin I’ve found that claims to remove parent categories from permalinks.
If anyone can recommend another plugin that does this it would be greatly appreciated.
