In reply to: [SEOPress for MainWP] SEOPress must be installed on MainWP Dashboard?Hi @jfarsen, if I may jump in, this isn’t unheard of; we even require Yoast to be installed on your Dashboard to use the WordPress SEO Extension.
I would also recommend the free Lock Extension for your Dashboard if you haven’t installed it yet.

This needs to be at minimum 1.1. 1.1 was released 4 years ago and solved many issues

It could be that the child site server firewall is blocking requests.
Can you have your host support whitelist your dashboard IP in the server firewall settings?A temporary workaround while you wait for your host is to tell your Dashboard to ignore SSL errors by going into Settings–>Advanced Settings and turning off Verify SSL certificate
Can you go to your Dashboard and go to Status –> server (/wp-admin/admin.php?page=ServerInformation) and locate cURL SSL Version and let me know what that is and also what is in the Server Software section.
