We’ve implemented a notice/warning system in version 1.2.0 as a step in this direction. We will continue to revise it and improve on it.
I’m going to close this topic out for now and we can discuss improvements on 1.2.0 in a new topic.

Going to mark this as resolved for now since it’s a WP SEO issue and not at Shopp SEO one.
