In reply to: [MailerSend - Official SMTP Integration] Great Plugin Needs Some PolishHi there, thank you for this review! We’ll have some more bandwidth to look at these kinds of edge cases in the future. For this version, we wanted to keep it simple, but this is a good suggestion, I’ll log it in our backlog and we’ll work on this.
Have a great day!
Agathe, product manager of MailerSend,Hello @vikx01 , I’m Agathe, MailerSend’s product manager. Could you please contact our support team on the app’s chat or via email ([email protected]) so they can help you fix the issue? Our SMTP plugin should be working fine if the credentials from your domain match the domain you’re sending emails from.

In reply to: [MailerSend - Official SMTP Integration] Could not authenticate.Hi Terrence,
I’m Agathe, MailerSend’s project manager. We’re sorry to hear you’ve encountered an error while attempting to send via SMTP. I haven’t been able to find your account, would you mind sending an email to [email protected] so we can check?
We recommend you run through some troubleshooting steps to resolve this as usually this type of problem can happen for the following reasons:
Wrong username or password: these fields are both case-sensitive, so you need to make sure both are exactly as shown in your account and that your provider is not changing them to lowercase or uppercase.
Sender email address: ensure the ‘from’ address you have opted to use matches the domain you’ve verified in your MailerSend account and is entered in lowercase.
Security settings: if you are testing MailerSend’s SMTP using a local client, you’ll need to make sure you do not have a firewall blocking the connection. You might find you need to set your firewall software to allow SMTP sending using port 587.
I hope that helps, but please feel free to let us know if you continue to have problems.
Regards,

Hey @faelmarcondeli and @crrrrr,
Great news, the new version has been released this morning, it includes:
– New recipients: CC and BCC recipients,
– New variables: invoice.discount_total and order.shipping_method variable, items.*.meta_data variableLet us know how that works for you,
We’re still working on V2.0 which should allow you to connect MailerSend to 3rd party plugins. Stay tuned!
Regards,
Agathe.Hi Balazs,
Yes, we should be done before March, we implemented a series of WooCommerce-developed plugins and are providing the instructions to do the same for other 3-rd party plugins. Do subscribe to our newsletter for updates!Hi there!
Thanks for your review, we are in the process of updating our plugin so that 3rd party plugins developers have an interface to hook their triggers and variables to our plugin. That way, you’ll be able to have every trigger and add as many templates as needed. Thanks for your patience on this and let me know if there’s anything else we can help you with in the meantime.
Best regards,
Agathe
