  • How were you able to fix this with the child theme?

I made a copy of the yellow.css file and placed it in customizr-child/inc/css/yellow.css and removed the text-shadow, but it didn’t seem to take.

I could use some help with the PHP code needed to call ‘facebook_page_albums_get_album_list’ onto a page on my site.

I replaced the client_id and app_id in the URL with my App ID, and I’m getting an “500 Internal Server Error” when I go to it.

Is there something else I’m missing? Do I need to put my App Secret in there somewhere?

The website encountered an error while retrieving https://www.facebook.com/desktopapp.php?app_id=424878317577400&popup=1&code=AQB8Jo_nw33CMz2D-Qs61L8vh5SmNv9w66-tB4IZuZD9z8UXAkloCuxhSx8FvWcp_4U2_W5D-My5Vy8-agz21GRSNbTcWIa9_G6HJkmN5gVIQ49VPAYZpNY-QQhD6lOjoyr8dbr6Sh-djTP8nuoZbEGuGIYbIA2b0fAjPNXJtdFkzvxhRQwRQT3KB5E8DTJ0zl64VmNyX1JdQVmQyy-E8Y01#_=_. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.

Okay, I found the file – it’s in the /images/ directory of the theme!

    How can I fix this?

Here is a definitive guide on the problem and how to fix it –

    https://groups.google.com/group/google-reader-troubleshoot/browse_thread/thread/39a7eef288c65dd0/3d177143fb8f5be1?lnk=gst&q=spam#3d177143fb8f5be1

I found the offending entry in my client’s db, and am keeping my fingers crossed that the next post will have a clean RSS description.

Now I need to check my own blog. Sigh. Why can’t hackers find something useful to do?

studiocodes, can you post your fix for this online?
Or send it to me through my site – https://maida.net/contact.html

Does someone know which files of the WordPress package write the RSS feeds?

An interesting find – someone emailed my client and said that the RSS feed for a previous post showed up as SPAM for him, but that post is fine in the RSS feed for me.

Only today’s post looks like SPAM to me.

How is it going with this?

I think this plug in would be good in a shop with a smaller number of items, but I have a client who changes his inventory pretty much completely every 6 weeks when he gets shipments in from Europe. Instead of purchasing, the customer add things to their wishlist and it gets sent to him so that he can check availability.

Currently, I am using a heavily customized Photoshop Web Photo Gallery that generates the Mals’ code from the file name. He puts the prices on the images themselves, so I only have to change the product description.

I’m wondering if we could somehow meld your plugin with a photo gallery type plug in whose captions are Add to Cart code.

I’m just thinking out loud here…

    Did you try shadowbox js?

30 seconds ago, I googled “wordpress mals” and up popped your post in the forum.

I’ve used Mals for my clients sites for YEARS and recently started porting their websites to WordPress.

I’m in the midst of two launches right now, but I would LOVE to try your plugin for an upcoming project.

Oh, and just FYI, I believe there is a commercial application called SimpleCart that is a competitor of Mal’s Cart.

    More soon…

Thank you so much, Otto42. That works perfectly.

It will be only temporary, until the site is approved and ready to go live.

It’s one thing to look at it as a developer’s standpoint, but I’m getting complaints from my clients who are frustrated with the new interface.

I’ve still got clients on 800×600 resolution whose sites I set up on WordPress for ease of use to allow them to do authoring and small maintenance themselves.

Having the menu on the left side makes everything seem much more cramped.

I don’t think having the ability to move the menu to the top or the left side is an unreasonable option to ask for.

I just hope that we can avoid another major UI change at the whim of the latest UI trend.

WordPress does have have a Preview Theme feature, so it is not so far-fetched to think that a category page preview is out of bounds.

I did expect that my category template would be viewable when I went to that particular category even if there are no posts in that category. I put the additional HTML outside of The Loop.

Have I misunderstood that as well?

I would do try a manual upgrade – perhaps a file got corrupted during the one click upgrade this time.
