Reading our correspondence above – carefully – it seems that I poorly described what I was looking for.

I need to trigger the tooltip on keywords that appear in the image ‘Alt’ text.

The effect would be for example, the popup to activate on mouse hover over a small information icon if the icon’s ‘alt’ text matched a KTG keyword.
Hence my reference above to the Smallipop jquery plugin

Another problem is that the text I’ve entered for the tooltip is not appearing, only the ‘Alt’ text. In the ‘Keywords related’ panel for the page in question, it states “No KeyWords found for this post” yet the ‘Alt’ text matched exactly the keyword set up.

Can I be doing something wrong ?

Many thanks.
However there appears to be a problem.
In settings I’ve selected the option ‘Activate tooltips for images‘ and entered a new keyword for the ‘Alt’ text on one image.

What happens is that tooltips appear not only for the image which has the keyword in the ‘Alt’ text but also for every other image.

I had expected only tooltip for the image with an ‘Alt’ matching the keyword to appear.

This website here status.co.uk (see blue icons on product pages} has just the sort of functionality I desire. The script used is Smallipop (see here projects.sebastianhelzle.net/jquery.smallipop/ ) but it is not a WP plugin.

I’ve found the answer.

The shop base page is a ‘Product-archive’. The WP SEO Title and Meta settings for the ‘shop page’ do not function.
However for the solution: Look under the Post Types tab and scrolling to the bottom under “Custom Post Type Archives” is a note “instead of templates these are the actual titles and meta descriptions for these custom post type archive pages“.

There you’ll find ‘Products’ (i.e. the products-archive)and the meta boxes for Title and Description

Just found this post which may help

White Label CMS will only permit the Editor user role.

I have a similar problem as I would like to use White Label CMS with WooCommerce as my client wants only to moderate product reviews. As I understand it, WooCommerce will only permit their ‘Shop Manager’ role to do this – which is at odds with WLCMS.

Rather than open in a tab it would be great to open T & C’s in a lightbox / popup. Once read the customer just needs to close the box
