In reply to: edit buttons vanished and 'add media' not workingI’ve just tried renaming the plug-in folder via FTP, and that makes zero difference to this problem.

In reply to: tags function not working on new/edit postsThanks, but I’ve already tried disabling all the plug-ins, as I said in my initial post.

In reply to: Controlling RSS Feed via category inclusion? The problem with that is that it doesn’t suppress the other categories i.e. if a user hits the RSS sub icon on the home page, they get the lot.
I can do it by excluding individual posts, but that seems a very long and arduous way around things!

In reply to: Restrict a Category to logged in subscribers?I have now solved this, using the protect content plug-in.

In reply to: Restrict a Category to logged in subscribers?bumping this back up…
I’ve played with a couple more plugins since, such as wp_members and protectcontent. The trouble is that each of these restricts per post, and I want to restrict a category, ideally with a “you could be reading this if you were logged in” message.
Anyone?

In reply to: wp_list_categories shows list 3 timesThat’s great, thanks! I had a feeling it was something really simple which I just wasn’t seeing due to being a newbie.
