same issue here with WPMU after upgrading today to 4.0.

I’ve just noticed that there is a “template.po” at the new version. is it ready for using? I tried a translation but nothing happened.

Could you please post which lines of the functions.php you have modified? It may be useful for other cases. I’v tested with my pt-br translation and that worked out perfectly!

Why doesn’t work out with the .mo/.po language files? I’ve opened a .po into Poedit and that showed me some quotes up for translation but when i uploaded the translated version nothing worked out.

Update your WP to 3.5 version.

You can edit the new pending post and then at the “Insert Media” button select the images uploaded to that pending post and insert them to that post and/or set one of them as featured image.
