For the first issue, please update your theme to 2.2.8.
For the second, I have tried to set 3 column for team section and it worked. Please set, save then quit customize to check.

Hello, due to the bootstrap framework, the theme supports IE version above 8.
If you use IE 6/7, sorry the theme can’t support it.

You could also find some third-party plugin to help you display blog in front page.

You could use Magee Shortcodes plugin to insert audio in custom mode.
